Episode 22 of Minimalist opens at the monument on Kaladun's complete the monument map, where Team B.S. add two more pieces before heading into the next dungeon. Inside are mossy rooms full of poison spiders, silverfish with name tags and armored mobs called Ashen Priests, with lava running down the walls. Nobody dies, and by the end one more wool has come out of the dungeon.
Two more pieces
"We're gonna do some celebrating to get things started off." Basket is holding brown wool and a diamond block, and both go into their slots on the monument. That leaves the green, red and black wool slots empty, plus the emerald block. On the recording: "three more wools." They already have the wool from the nursery, and the withered soul, which they "need to get to the last one," is next on the list. They stock up on strength and fire resistance potions and head out through the intersection.
Spiders and vines
The dungeon is mossy stone, vines and jungle leaves. "Poisonous spiders, okay." With strength on, they go down fast. Spawners get broken one at a time, but breaking one lets lava pour out, and the guess on the recording is that it sat behind one of them. On the recording: "there's a diamond block inside here, let's just leave that." Lower down is a flooded room with another spawner in the water, cave spiders, skeletons and a creeper.
A chest of skulls
One chest is full of skeleton skulls and holds an axe called Calvarium. The tooltip says "Sometimes to free a mind you've got to crack a skull." It hits harder and adds health, but it also takes 12 percent off speed. Someone on the recording reads that out: "So you're slower."
Ashen Priests and Ironfish
Further in is a room of lava columns and mobs "in like super red armor," labeled Ashen Priest. Ashen Hood and Ashen Robe armor with fire protection turns up in their loot, along with a bow called Bent Scepter that has Infinity. The strength is running out, so they top up their potions and go back in. Silverfish called Ironfish keep pouring out of corners. "The silverfish spawners aren't affected by light," and later, "they're coming down out of the lava." They break the lava columns to make room, which puts Basket "more in the lava than I've ever been in my life." One hole in the floor drops straight down, and the recording calls it: "that's what void looks like."
Where it ends
"Get the wool." One of them comes up with it ("Yep, I got one"), though it never shows up in Basket's inventory and its color is not seen. Basket gets a set of diamond armor, and a chest of gold ingots turns up as well. They look for an emerald block in the ceiling, and the watermelon on the walls is "just for design." The episode ends while they go through a chest of potions, deciding what to take. The Deaths board stays at Scoti_Garbidis 17, BasketMC 13.
