Somebody cleared it already

Basket has given up on zombie flesh as food. The quest rewards hand out enough bread. There's no obvious road to the southeastern mine, so Basket swims part of the way and finds it anyway.

Another player has been through first. Basket can see Dash down there, and Dash says in chat they've already cleared it, so enjoy the clear path. It helps. A big guy with a sword is still around, though, and too many zombies, and for a moment it looks bad. "I need to make sure they don't get within range of me."

The quest item turns up near a lava pit. "Yes! Quest item." The mine resets in 13 minutes, so Basket stays to loot. The blazes are heard but not seen. "I don't like the sound of the blazes. It makes me very nervous." A chest guarded by a spawner is worth being greedy for, and it even has torches in it.

The road is worse than the woods

Following the road back to town seems smart until it isn't. "These roads are something else." It might be heading away from town. Basket gives up, gets in the water, spots a portal, and swims home.

Sixty seconds in the southern mine

The southern mine is up next, and Basket finds it by compass, then realizes there was a road the whole time. The mine resets in two minutes and someone has been through already. Basket grabs the onyx with about 60 seconds to spare, checks one chest, finds nothing much, and gets out.

Then Basket goes back in after the reset, with the spawners live again. There's a reason for that. When other players clear everything first, Basket doesn't get any of the currency.

Cheaty spiders and a fancy guy

It's a slower run this time: light the spawners, fall back, break them, eat bread. Basket gets stuck in webs more than once. Then a "fancy guy" shows up and throws a lingering potion. "Looks like we don't want to be in that." It seems to attack before it should. "What a jerk."

The spiders are worse. "Cheaty spiders." Something is shooting at Basket. Basket makes a bow, combines two swords, and finally uses a potion. "It's kind of wasteful, but I'm gonna use it." The chest at the end has "nothing super awesome."

Breaking spawners was supposed to be for experience, so Basket can reset the skill point. "I don't like my spell at all." There turns out to be enough already.

A tiara, and maybe a curse

Back at the shop, Aimee is surprised. "Wow, that was fast! I'll have plenty of time to finish this crown!" The reward is a Jeweled Tiara, one Imperial Coin and 128 Enchanting Bottles. "Oh my goodness."

Then a warning: "Be careful, I think that Onyx might be cursed!" Aimee waves it off. Curses are a legend, "like dragons and Septum."

The tiara is another luck item, like the Topaz Cap, but with Protection II and Unbreaking II. Basket is tempted to wear it but wants to hold onto it until dying less often. The episode ends with an inventory cleanup and no idea what the next quest is.
