Creeper Tower Yard: Ragecraft 2 Episode 5

  • Published on

Team B.S. starts this one in the room at the top of the creeper tower. One of them did some work off camera, and it shows: a bed that turned out to be useless ("I'm a noob and forgot that your beds won't help us"), a chest with dirt, logs, a potato, arrows and a magic bow taken off a skeleton, and a ring of dirt built around a tree below. The deaths sidebar opens at Scoti_Garbidis 11 and BasketMC 6. The last episode ended at 8 and 6, so three of Scoti's deaths happened between recordings. "I starved to death."

What's left

They take stock. One of them has a couple of random blocks, 18 arrows and a potato. The Holy Water from two episodes back is gone. "I guess we lost it." There's an iron sword, though, and a pit at the bottom walled in with dirt where "other than zombie kids nobody can get to you."

Some wooden blocks on the floor just "poof" when hit. "They're probably half slabs." Nobody gets them to break.

Potatoes and bone meal

Food is the real problem, so they plant the potatoes on a dirt block and bone meal them. "Will you be my bonemealer?" The crop only gives "like half a hunger pop," but "we don't have anything right now so it's better than nothing." Nine potatoes go to one of them, and they eat up as far as they can.

There's coal for torches now. "I have 21 torches right now. I'm only gonna take 11." One of them also grabs cobwebs to throw down if creepers come running.

Opening the door

The yard around the tower is full of mobs, so they fight from behind a door in the dirt wall, opening it to let a few in at a time. Zombies come first, one of them in chainmail. "Oh, chainmail armor, we could use that." Then a skeleton with no weapon. "My favorite kind." One of them drops to four hearts and eats nearly all the zombie flesh they have.

The plan after that is simple: "sprint and torch stuff," then run back. The magic bow is "almost busted," and repairing it needs an anvil they don't have. A run goes wrong when zombies come up behind one of them, who gets back in through "the back door."

Lighting up the yard

Once the yard is lit, things calm down. They break a spawner, then charge a creeper and take out another one, and start opening chests. One holds a stone sword. "Really, this is all we had to do is we just had to light some stuff up?"

Another chest nearby gives up a splash potion of healing, an Efficiency wooden pickaxe and a shovel. The shovel is named The Gravedigger, with Sharpness IV and Unbreaking II. "It's kind of a weapon but you can't block with it." The webs make them think there's a spider spawner in there too.

One of them falls in a hole and runs back on three hearts with nothing to heal but apples. Then more loot: a bow called Bow of a Fallen Archer with Power I, "not all busted up," and a gold sword called Spectral Blade with Sharpness III, Knockback I and Unbreaking II.

Magic pants next time

Back at the tower they bone meal more potatoes and sort out armor. "I'm going to put the chest plate on and then you can swap out your pants." The episode ends on a promise: "Next episode, tune in to see me with Magic Pants!"

Nobody dies this episode. The sidebar ends where it started, at Scoti_Garbidis 11 and BasketMC 6. The monument isn't shown.
