Episode 46 picks up in Death Row, with Scoti_Garbidis standing beside an open chest in a torch-lit room. The deaths sidebar reads Scoti_Garbidis 63 and BasketMC 46. The first chest is about pants. Basket's inventory shows a pair of Mithril Leggings with Protection I and Unbreaking II, and the trade talk goes back and forth: "I have protection one pants on." "Oh, you have leather protection one pants." "I told you I didn't have good pants."
A sword in glowstone
The next chest holds a single sword ringed by four glowstone blocks. The tooltip reads Blade of Illumination: Smite II, Fire Aspect II, Unbreaking I, Powerful Magic Item, +6 Attack Damage. One of them asks, "You want to give me the jagged blade? And you take that one?" The answer is "Sure," and from then on the label over Basket's hotbar reads Blade of Illumination. The appeal is simple: "I get to set guys on fire." The same inventory also shows an Antidote.
Soul sand and a library
Below the balcony is a pool of water, and one of them wonders if it is "just for cool scenery, or if there's a secret." The answer they find is "soul sand." It might matter later, but not yet: "Do we have stuff for potioning? No, we don't have netherworld yet."
A ladder leads up to a room of bookshelves and torches. "There's like a library up there," with archers shooting down at them, and creepers keep coming from somewhere nearby. "There's got to be creeper spawners around here somewhere."
Spawner hunting
The search turns into a running fight. One trip down the stairs goes badly: "I need help. I'm up in here," followed by "I had two hearts, I had three hearts." Then the reward: "Oh, there's a spawner right here on the stairs." Over the next few minutes the spawners come out one at a time. "Alright, I took out that spawner." "All right, I took out the creeper spawner." "There's a spawner in here, I'm taking it out." Basket switches between the new blade and an Improved Pickaxe, and an Undead Prisoner catches fire under the blade.
Even with the spawners gone, creepers keep showing up. "There's a whole balcony of creepers up here." One near miss gets a laugh: "I don't know how I survived that."
Prisoners on fire
The last stretch is a big hall of torches, iron bars and vines. Undead Prisoners come at Basket in groups and go up in flames one after another, and a skeleton with an Undead Guard (Melee) name tag joins in. Basket switches to a Splash Potion of Healing during the fight, and the verdict on the new sword is quoted, not argued: "This sword is sweet."
By the end the two of them are in different parts of the prison. The plan is to end the episode there and meet up again, and the last shot is Basket walking down a narrow corridor. Nobody dies this time: the sidebar ends where it started, at Scoti_Garbidis 63 and BasketMC 46. The monument is not shown, so the count stays at three wools of 16 and two emerald blocks of 16.
