With Death Row's light blue wool placed last time, Team B.S. picks the next area. "We probably should do Brimstone River." The deaths sidebar opens at Scoti_Garbidis 74 and BasketMC 53, the same as at the end of last episode. One of them guesses at the name: "I was thinking river, but I was thinking water river. But it's probably a fire river, lava."
Clay and books
The first rooms are stone halls with chests. "He came from the ceiling." A zombie in red armor shows up by the stairs. "We got incoming zombies with armor." The big chest is full of clay, hardened clay and enchanted books, and one tooltip reads Enchanted Book, Fire Protection II.
"Should we enchant our stuff with fire resistance before we go into this or should we just go with it?" "Let's roll with it." One of them reads out a hint: "Look very closely at what happens when you kill one of the custom zombies. It will help you a lot!"
An Arsonist
They run in, and the lava river opens up below them. "Look out at this lava river." It doesn't take long. "What hit me? What's hitting me?" The screen goes red: "BasketMC was slain by Arsonist." The sidebar moves Basket to 54.
Chat shows Basket teleporting back to Intersection 1, and they head in again for the dropped gear. "I hope the stuff didn't fall in lava."
Fire resistance
The hint starts to make sense. "They're not dropping the stuff until they hit the ground. Like the potions are falling away from us." Then: "Fire resistance for 44 seconds." Later one of them sums it up: "They only give you fire resistance if you kill them, but if you don't kill them they set you on fire."
Then Scoti slips. "I fell in the lava. I'm dead. I can't get out." Chat reads "Scoti_Garbidis tried to swim in lava to escape Fire Elemental," and Scoti goes to 75. Basket now carries a sword the hotbar names Seraph's Avenger.
Spawners in the walls
They work up through the platforms and stairs above the lava. "I think I got the spawner." At about 15 minutes chat reads "Scoti_Garbidis fell from a high place," and Scoti reaches 76. A chest turns up more fire gear: "Leather pants and boots with fire protection on 'em." "Leather, huh?" One of them reminds the other what matters: "We need to focus on getting the wool."
Skeletons in the lava
The bridges over the lava are the next problem. "There's a bunch of skeletons in the lava. I'm gonna die!" Chat reads "Scoti_Garbidis was burnt to a crisp whilst fighting Fire Elemental," and Scoti goes to 77. "You died on a bridge, so you're not gonna have every bunch of stuff." They decide to get across, kill the spawners below "and call this an episode."
Four deaths, three of them Scoti's. The sidebar opens at Scoti_Garbidis 74 and BasketMC 53 and closes at 77 and 54. No wool turns up and they don't visit the monument, so wools stay at 4 of 16 and emerald blocks at 3 of 16.
