Team B.S. starts this one in the lava cavern, a little off from where they stopped. "We're not where we logged out last episode." The deaths sidebar opens at Scoti_Garbidis 77 and BasketMC 54. Some prep happened off camera, by their account: "I enchanted up a bunch of fire resist gear that we both have on, so hopefully that'll help us out with this very fiery area."
Across the bridge
They cross a bridge over the lava together and run into a crowd of green-faced zombies in red shirts, clustered around a mob spawner. Basket has an item called the Haunted Baton in the hotbar. A creeper turns up behind them, and something keeps setting them on fire. "No, it's the bow. The skellie in the water. That's getting me."
Basket throws a Splash Potion of Healing, and the shouting starts. "I'm on fire! Splash me some..." "They're everywhere."
Slain by an Arsonist
It doesn't hold. Basket's screen goes red with "You died!" and chat reads "BasketMC was slain by Arsonist." The sidebar ticks to BasketMC 55.
Basket respawns in the base room beside two chests, one signed for each of them, and refills from them. Chat reads "BasketMC Teleporting to: Intersection 1," and Basket walks back down to the lava. Meanwhile one of them gathers the dropped gear: "Grab a death chest just be safe." Back in the cavern Basket's inventory holds a Dragon Tooth with Sharpness II, Smite I and Fire Aspect I.
Spawners in the walls
Creepers keep appearing out of nowhere. "There's creepers appearing right around in here, which means there's got to be a spawner in here or something." The answer is a pane of glass set into the wall. "There's a glass on the wall right over here, I bet that's where it is." They break it, and keep hunting. "In each of these corners there was a spawner also." Below them is a pit of lava: "I want to cover it up."
The trap they saw coming
A tunnel leads into a sandstone passage. A mob in red with a jack-o'-lantern head stands burning in a doorway, and the shouting starts again. "Oh god, creeper!" "Please put me out!"
Past it is a room with shelves and furnaces. "It's a supply room." Then: "Oh, what's this? Oh, trap, trap, trap, trap." Lava pours in, and they're clear of it. "We're so smart. We knew it was there, dude." "Don't get cocky, kid."
The trap they didn't
The cockiness lasts about a minute. A block gets broken next to some gravel, and cave spiders turn up. Basket's hearts turn green with poison, and Basket retreats down the passage. "I'm gonna die in a good spot. Oh, I didn't die." Later: "I was like, 'Is that gravel?' I'm like, 'It's gravel.' So I was like, I'll bust this one next to it. I learned nothing."
The storeroom pays off anyway. A Large Chest is full of spawn eggs and potions, a minecart holds supplies, and a Splash Potion of Swiftness ends up in Basket's inventory. They also work out what the first trap was meant to do: "close this in the room and then pour lava in this entrance."
"Zombies and a creeper over here apparently," so they call it there. The sidebar opens at Scoti_Garbidis 77 and BasketMC 54, where last episode left it, and closes at 77 and 55, with Basket's one death to an Arsonist. The monument isn't shown, so wools stay at 4 of 16 and emerald blocks at 3 of 16.
