Team B.S. heads back into the lava cavern in a good mood. "We had a good showing last episode." It doesn't last long for Basket, who dies twice in the first seven minutes. The deaths sidebar opens at Scoti_Garbidis 77 and BasketMC 55.
Creepers in the walls
The trouble this time is creeper spawners set high in the cavern walls. "The creeper spawner is in the, like, high up in the wall, are really obnoxious." The plan is to keep things lit and stay away from the lava: "those lava skeletons are annoying."
They head for two spawners across the way, and it goes wrong fast. "Creepers are fast. Creepers are fast." Then "fire got me" and "elemental fire, what the hell is that?" Chat answers the question: "BasketMC was slain by Fire Elemental."
The long walk back
Basket respawns with an empty hotbar and takes the teleporter, and chat reads "BasketMC Teleporting to: Intersection 1." "I underestimated the dudes, and so they were hitting me. They killed me fast." The lesson: "I can't just rush the spawners."
Back in the cavern, low on health and with no armor, Basket doesn't make it far. "Where's your armor? You don't have your armor on." "I know, I don't have anything." A burning zombie closes in, and chat reads "BasketMC was slain by Zombie."
Role reversal
This time the other one does the rescuing. "I think I got all your stuff. Most of it's in this chest, some of it's in my inventory." Basket sorts through a Large Chest of recovered gear. One question gets a bad answer: "Do you have your infinity bow?" "I do not."
The episode gets its name here. "I like this reversal of our roles again. It might make this more enjoyable for me if I'm saving you for once."
Water buckets and one heart
Back out, they hug the wall toward a chest. "The downside is hugging the wall means creepers dropping from the ceiling." A speed potion goes on, and the fight turns messy fast. "I had one heart, man." A water bucket helps: "I watered the... whatever. We got rid of one spawner." The next one is a race, since the mobs spawn as soon as anyone gets close. The plan they settle on is "one person kills, one person breaks."
Panic Potion
A chest sits on a stone platform. "I don't think there's gravel trapped here." "This isn't trapped." Inside is a Panic Potion: Instant Health IV, Resistance III, Fire Resistance, and Weakness IV with -2 Attack Damage. "It heals you, it's awesome, but then you can't do any damage for 25 seconds." The verdict: "It's a thing you take if you're running away."
Thriller
The last push is toward another spawner below the path, and a pack of zombies climbs up to meet Basket. "It's like a Michael Jackson video over here." "Because it's Thriller." "I'm fighting him if you want to break it." "Broken." "Team B.S. finally getting back in stride." The plan for next time: "we'll go attack those blaze towers in the next episode."
Basket's two deaths take the sidebar to Scoti_Garbidis 77 and BasketMC 57, where it ends. The monument isn't shown, so wools stay at 4 of 16 and emerald blocks at 3 of 16.
