Team B.S. is back in the big jungle cavern, still hunting for the wool. The plan is simple: "We're gonna go get some guys. We're gonna kill 'em." The deaths sidebar opens at Scoti_Garbidis 88 and BasketMC 65, right where the last episode left it.
A bad start
It goes wrong fast. "Oh, zombie right here just spawned in on the bridge." Then "I've got one heart! I've got one heart!" and "I'm not healing because I don't have the food in my belly." Chat reads "BasketMC was slain by Zombie," and Basket is on 66 less than three minutes in.
Chat then shows "BasketMC Teleporting to: Ninja Academy," and one of them heads off for supplies: "I'm gonna get some splash potions out of here, I haven't been grabbing any." One building turns out to have an inside worth the trip: "Ooh, got some armor, torches, arrows, and apples and such."
Creepers and a Fallen Sensei
"Scoti_Garbidis was blown up by Creeper" takes Scoti to 89. Soon after, chat reads "BasketMC was slain by Fallen Sensei," and Basket is on 67. "You found the sensei, huh."
Back together at a chest, they sort out whose gear is whose. "I had a flamey bow." Arrows get shared out: "I have two stacks of arrows."
Wool, or an emerald?
One of them spots a small tower with a chest inside: "That is the wool. Okay, go." It isn't. Later a pit in the middle looks promising. "There is a wool down here. Uh, oh. Uh, no. It's an emerald. Sorry. Wool just slipped out of my mouth."
Basket looks down into the pit at zombies and a burning spawner, with a Fallen Sensei name tag in the crowd. The chest sits at the bottom. "It's gonna be an emerald, and a bunch of magic books." "Got it." "See, I told you." Then: "You're cool with me taking this emerald back to the start, right?" "Yeah, please."
Six deaths in ten minutes
The next stretch is rough. Chat reads "BasketMC was blown up by Creeper," then "Scoti_Garbidis was blown up by Creeper." One of them pleads, "Dear Basket MC, please send food." Then come "BasketMC was slain by Fallen Ninja" and "BasketMC was shot by Skeleton." "You're dead again?" "Yeah, I die a lot." A third "Scoti_Garbidis was blown up by Creeper" puts Scoti on 91.
In between, Basket opens a chest and comes away holding an emerald. "There's an emerald in this box for some reason."
Then "BasketMC was slain by Fallen Ninja" again, and Basket wakes at the respawn bed on 71 with an empty hotbar.
By the time Basket is back in the cavern, an emerald sits in the hotbar again. "I got the emerald, all right, cool." The sword in Basket's hand reads Merciless Saber.
The gravel pillar
With no wool in sight, Basket ends up in the dark water at the bottom of the cavern. "There's a pillar of gravel down here." For a moment it looks like a shortcut: "We may have been had, dude. There might have been a way to just get through this level real fast." Then, after a closer look: "I'm gonna bet there was just gravel in here and it fell." "This is a total waste." The next idea is the tower "clear on the other side": "I say we call this."
The sidebar opens at Scoti_Garbidis 88 and BasketMC 65 and closes at 91 and 71: three deaths for Scoti (all creepers) and six for Basket (a zombie, the Fallen Sensei, a creeper, a skeleton and two Fallen Ninjas). The monument isn't shown, so the count stays at 6 of 16 wools and 3 of 16 emerald blocks.
