Team B.S. is still inside the Reptilian Stronghold, still after the gray wool, and this time they start with a gear check. The deaths sidebar opens at Scoti_Garbidis 103 and BasketMC 81.
Gearing up
"Enchanted Ragecraft, oh man, I'm so ready for this." The chests come out first. One of them reads off a list of armor enchantments and tried to stack on more, "but it like rejected it, it was rude." In a large chest, the Blade of Illumination shows its tooltip: Smite II, Fire Aspect II, Unbreaking I and +6 Attack Damage.
Then the buckets get split up. "Do you want the water bucket or the lava bucket?" "I will take the lava bucket." "Okay, I'll do water." The Water Bucket ends up in Basket's hotbar, so the lava goes with Scoti. The plan is to "go at ground level and try and light some stuff up," and the outfits match: "I got blue pants on." "Me too."
Silverfish and spawners
A splash potion of swiftness goes down ("might as well use some potions while we can"), and they push toward the front of the keep. Basket has Archangel's Blade out while spawners get broken one after another ("I'm breaking all these spawners"). The silverfish are the problem: "I've never had this much trouble shooting silverfish in my life." Upstairs it is worse: "There were four rage creepers together."
A chest turns up a Potion of Strength, and someone grabs a splash healing potion ("I'll take that").
The lava bucket
Then the lava comes out. "I put lava down," and for a moment it works: "oh he fell in lava." The fires do not stay put. Soon flames are scattered across the wooden floors, and the verdict comes in: "I used a lava bucket, and it was a bad choice."
A burning creeper with a Rage Creeper name tag walks right up to Basket near a chest. One of the chests up here holds a pair of Diamond Boots, and another is "one of your death chests, man, from last episode."
Kamikaze
The roof is where it falls apart. "Hey, creepers! So many creepers!" A creeper spawner is still going inside the building, and a hole blown in its wall lets the creepers out. "Kamikaze. What a jerk, he jumped out from the top." "That roof is deadly right now."
Chat reads "BasketMC was blown up by Rage Creeper," and the count goes to 82.
Basket respawns in a white room with a bed, restocks from a chest and heads back out through a waterfall. "It's gonna take a while for me to get back to you, and the fire is spreading." There is some hope for the lost gear ("there's a chest right there, probably still full from the last time you died"), but "the fire is burning up through the floor."
Scoti's count ticks to 104 while Basket is on the way back. No death line shows on Basket's screen, just "Scoti_Garbidis Teleporting to: Intersection 2" in chat. Whether any of their stuff survived, they say, is a question for the next episode.
