Hey, I Don't Like Your Attitude: Ragecraft 2 Episode 80

  • Published on

The last episode ended with the Reptilian Stronghold's wooden floors on fire and a chest of gear in the way. This one opens on a title card that says what the plan is: "Recovering Our Stuff." The deaths sidebar opens at Scoti_Garbidis 104 and BasketMC 82.

Sorting through the ashes

The news isn't good. "Your stuff's still gone, dude. I don't need to be a party pooper." The reply gives the episode its name: "Hey! You can make that the name of this episode. Hey, I don't like your attitude."

The fire took some of it. "There was three or four other books out here," and they "burned up." Some of the rest may have fallen "down through" to the floor below. The last death gets a recap too: "I can't believe I weakness potion myself to death." The potion was thrown "real short and weak," right onto the block in front of them.

Basket goes through a large chest of what's left. The tooltips show a Merciless Saber, a Chain Chestplate with Unbreaking III and Projectile Protection IV, and an Iron Pickaxe with Unbreaking III and Efficiency IV. Someone is short on armor: "I got no pants." "You can wear my pants."

Back down, with lava

The plan is to keep clearing the stronghold the way they were: "our tactic was working out pretty well until I got ambushed by a creeper." It happens again almost right away. "Creeper behind you, real fast! Behind you!" One of them nearly falls, and "there's some vines that saved my life." The efficiency pick goes missing and then turns up again: "I'm getting my efficiency pick, there we go."

Then the lava comes out. "Burn, baby, burn." A second later: "That's gonna make more fire. That was a bad idea."

The Berserker

Basket fights skeletons beside a burning spawner with the Inquisitor's Sword. Then chat reads "Scoti_Garbidis was slain by Reptilian Berserker," and the sidebar goes to 105.

"Oh, man, I can't believe I died!" The explanation is a familiar one: "I died because of myself again in a slippery weakness potion." The gear is "down where the lava was," and "most of it went in the lava."

Not long after, Basket finds the Berserker, a creeper-faced mob with an axe, standing in the lava and burning.

A Rage Creeper, again

Someone is "poisoned by spiders" and "walking very slowly," and can't stop to eat. A report comes back about "a bunch of heads on sticks" and "a giant red mushroom," and the guess is that the gray wool isn't "in the castle."

Basket looks down through a broken floor at a room with creepers in it, and chat reads "Scoti_Garbidis was blown up by Rage Creeper." That makes 106.

Calling it

Chat reads "Scoti_Garbidis Teleporting to: Intersection 2," and the plan is that "when I catch up to you it's the end of the episode." Basket cycles through the recovered gear and puts it in a chest. "Don't end it yet." "I'm not ending it yet. I'll never end it. It's the never-ending Ragecraft!" The sign-off: "I'm BasketMC saving his stuff."

The sidebar opens at Scoti_Garbidis 104 and BasketMC 82 and closes at 106 and 82: two deaths for Scoti, none for Basket. Nothing plays after the credits. The monument isn't shown, so wools stay at 7 of 16 and emerald blocks at 4 of 16.
