Invincible Creepers!?!: Ragecraft 2 Episode 98

  • Published on

The deaths sidebar opens at Scoti_Garbidis 126 and BasketMC 96. Team B.S. starts a new area this time. At the Nexus, a sign over a framed TNT block reads "Area: Trinity Caves [Purple Wool]." One of them comes prepared, sort of: "I have two splash regeneration potions and a bunch of potions of frost on me." Neither of them brought many blocks. "I have none with me." "Oh, okay, that's even worse."

Sand, lava and a first chest

The Trinity Caves are sand and sandstone with lava underneath. "Glass, let's run across there." Mobs pile in from the dark right away. A chest sits in a small room near the lava, and they check it for a trap first. "Okay, not trapped." Inside are arrows, a sword and a pair of Iron Leggings. "I'll take the pants and the sword and the book arrows."

The sand is the next problem. "Look out, the sand trap just fell. That whole floor just collapsed." On the bright side: "Well, I have lots of blocks now."

Creepers that shrug off arrows

The creepers here don't act like creepers. "They don't knock back." Arrows are worse. "My arrow just reflected." "It is bouncing right off of them." "Maybe they're invincible, they just blow up." Swords seem to work, though: "I could hit him with either of my swords." Burning mobs with blaze-like heads wander around too, and they may be zombies underneath: "I got some zombie flesh from one of them."

TNT sits next to nearly every chest, and stray fire or arrows keep setting it off. "I just let off some TNT over there by shooting it with an arrow." They weigh blowing it all up against losing whatever is in the chests, and partway through the recording breaks off ("I think we'll see them next time") and picks up again with a fresh intro in the same caves.

Invulnerable

The creepers finally get a name. "Oh, invulnerable creeper is what that was called." Not long after, the chat reads "Scoti_Garbidis was blown up by Invulnerable Creeper." The chat then shows Scoti leaving and joining the game. "When I respawn I was like inside blocks and so disconnected real quick and then back in." Inside a tower, as Scoti tells it, there was a blaze spawner, "and then the floor dropped out from underneath me." The pressure plate turns up later at the bottom of a ladder.

Water under the TNT

The rest is a slow push past spawners and more creepers, plus what "looked like harming potions hitting the middle," and the TNT brings lag with it: "You're like zipping across the screen." Arrows run low ("I only have 22 arrows left"), and a chest they risk a run for has "nothing really great." Then one of them tries something new on a second TNT tower: "I dug out underneath it, put water in the base of the tower, and then it fell down in the water. Nothing bad happened." "There's an anvil in here," one of them says, and then, "I got it." The episode ends in the caves, and nothing plays after the credits.

The sidebar closes at Scoti_Garbidis 127 and BasketMC 96. Scoti dies once (an Invulnerable Creeper) and Basket doesn't die. No wool, emerald blocks or upgrade blocks are placed.
