The deaths sidebar opens at Scoti_Garbidis 126 and BasketMC 96. Team B.S. is back in the Nexus with an emerald block to place and a stack of treasure books to read. Basket sets the emerald block into its slot on the monument, and the reward chest under the sign marked "Emerald Block #8" opens up.
A gift from the map
The chest holds iron ingots, a book signed "You're welcome! by Ragecraft II," and two chestplates. Each one is a Cloak of Flames with Fire Protection III, Thorns V, Unbreaking V and +2 Attack Damage. One of them reads a note aloud that explains the pair: "Since thorns lowers the durability and unbreaking is almost useless now, I decided to give you two of these."
Math class
Then it's story time. The third book spells out the treasure hunt: "Our treasure is buried under the forest. The numbers in the first two treasure maps tell you where to dig down." Add the two numbers, and the first three digits of the sum are the negative X coordinate and the last three the negative Z.
The two maps read 267191 and 133732. That adds up to 400923, and it still takes a minute to sort out. "Four hundred point nine two three" gets read out, and the other one is lost: "You said something about a point and I got confused." Once it's settled at 400 and 923, they grab a shovel and the chat shows "BasketMC Teleporting to: The Hunting Grounds." On the way: "Oh man, it's not far from the start."
Under the forest
Getting there is the hard part. A chasm cuts across the way, and soon one of them is stuck: "I'm in a pit, I'm in a hole." The complaints pile up ("I keep getting poisoned though." "There's like spawners everywhere."), and Basket's debug screen stays up to track the coordinates. At about X -401 the digging breaks into water, and they drop down into a sandy cave full of chests.
The cave has its own welcome. The chat reads "BasketMC and Scoti_Garbidis You have killed my people, but you will NEVER take my treasure!" A name tag reading Dwarven Commander shows up among the chests. "That guy has diamond stuff." Once it's dealt with, the payout is thin: "He didn't drop anything except for zombie flesh."
Loot and a hint
Behind it there's redstone and a command block ("I'm gonna disable the redstone, is that cool?"), plus a chest hidden under the chests. One find reads like a clue: "One, two, three, one, two, three, hint hint." The guess is "it's probably another wool" in some other area off the Hunting Grounds.
The chests are full. Gold ingots, an Iron Pickaxe with +4 Attack Damage, and a Dwarven Battle Brew, a Unique Potion with Strength III, Resistance II and Slowness II for three minutes and +390% Attack Damage. "I'm grabbing all these magic books."
Getting out is another matter. "Is there a way to get back out of here?" "Uh, no." The plan is to pillar up and run, with a wolf to kill on the way ("I gotta kill a wolf"), and eventually the chat shows "Teleporting to: The Nexus."
A chain reaction
Back at the monument, the light gray wool goes in, and two lines pop up at once: "Light Gray Wool has been placed. Area defeated: The Hunting Grounds" and "Cyan Wool has been placed. Area defeated: Crumbling Abyss." The cyan wool went on the wall last episode with no message at all, and its message only shows up now. "It's like a chain reaction."
"We only have six more," one of them says, and they call it there. Nothing plays after the credits.
The sidebar closes where it opened, at Scoti_Garbidis 126 and BasketMC 96. Nobody dies. One emerald block and the light gray wool are placed, and The Hunting Grounds and the Crumbling Abyss both count as defeated. No upgrade blocks are placed.
