The deaths sidebar opens at Scoti_Garbidis 130 and BasketMC 97. Team B.S. is back in the Sunken Colony after the Episode 103 intermission, and the job hasn't changed. "We're supposed to find like six things or something," one of them says, "six bedrock things with switches on them, and activate them." They wonder whether the switches are wired together with redstone along the bottom, then remember the map could just use command blocks.
The patented staircase
They pick a building they had already been in, where they had found nothing to activate, and decide to work from the top down. Water gets poured in more than once and taken back out more than once. At one point it's "Oh God, I can't get out!", and later one of them says, "Contrary to popular belief, I find it annoying." The way down is a hole in the floor and "the patented Team B.S. staircase." A spawner comes out on the way. "Good job." "Thanks, man." "You're always good with the positive feedback." After that, water at the top of the stairs pushes the mobs back down them.
An emerald and a rare potion
The lower room holds one mob and a chest. On Basket's screen the chest has an Emerald, a Ferocious Blade (Sharpness V, Knockback I, Unbreaking III, a powerful magic item) and a Potion of Lucidity. "Ooh, emerald, nice." The emerald ends up in Basket's inventory, and the other one is happy to let it. The potion gets the bigger reaction.
The tooltip lists Night Vision, Water Breathing II and Resistance II, and they plan to save it for "a 14 minute water dive."
Arcane Key #2
Below that is "a big long dumb hole" that goes nowhere, so they go outside and cut down through the roof instead. "That's sort of the advantage we have with this level." Under the roof is a spawner and then a raised platform in a lit room. "I found a button." It's a switch on an obsidian box next to a sign that reads "Arcane Key #2," and the chat confirms it: "Scoti_Garbidis and BasketMC Arcane Key #2 has been activated."
"So where the switches are, are in rooms like this." The idea now is to peek through windows for the next one. Someone asks how you could see through walls in 1.7, and the answer is that it's probably against the rules.
The demolished building
They skip the rest of that building and head for a "dilapidated demolished building," betting the key is in the basement. "That's how this works." It's quiet at first. They dig in, knock out spawners one floor at a time, and close up a one-by-one hole in the floor where they think creepers come up. "I saw a switch, but it's just decoration." A chest there holds, as one of them reads it out, "Spell: Fury" and four pieces of paper. Then comes "No, I'm poisoned!"
The next building has another chest ("Regeneration potion, yeah!") and another spawner. "Oh, it's gonna blow." They decide to cut straight into the basement, put water down, and the episode ends with one of them poisoned again. Nothing plays after the credits.
The sidebar closes at Scoti_Garbidis 130 and BasketMC 97. Nobody dies. Arcane Key #2 is activated, Basket picks up an emerald, and no wool, emerald blocks or upgrade blocks are placed.
