Where haven't we been?: Ragecraft 2 Episode 111

  • Published on

The deaths sidebar opens at Scoti_Garbidis 133 and BasketMC 98. Team B.S. is still in the Sunken Colony with one arcane key left to find, and the episode title is the question they keep asking. "I'm really trying to figure out where we haven't been."

Sorting the loot

First stop is the storage chest, which is "so full of stuff." A second chest goes down and the dirt gets ditched. The Crystal Mattock sits in there, and its tooltip reads Efficiency III, Fortune IV, Unbreaking I, Legendary Magic Item. The question is whether to carry it or keep it safe. One of them already has a Fortune III pick, but "this is a fortune four." The other shrugs it off: "Whatever we get, we're gonna lose anyway."

Basements and old ground

The plan is to "skip right to the as low as we can go" in a beat-up building they half remember from the livestream. A spawner there nearly ends things. "I'm getting hurt bad. I'm gonna die." Nobody does. A chest behind some cobwebs holds an Elven Longbow with Power III and a dark block whose tooltip reads Adminium Block, "Rare Building Material." Basket takes the block, and one of them says they'll "drop off this bedrock block."

Building after building turns out to be somewhere they've been. By their account a charged creeper spawner gets taken out along the way, and a whole tower turns out to be a bust. "Okay, this building had arcane key six." "All right, that's a waste of our time is what you're saying."

Torching the hill

Next they climb the hill outside and "torch all the things." Some diamond ore in the hillside gets lost before they can mine it. "I'm bummed that we lost some diamonds, but it's fine. We got a stack of diamonds." A cluster of zombie spawners up there gets them talking about a new experience grinder as a side project.

A chest on the far side holds, by their account, a fishing pole with "sharpness 8, knockback 1." The hill turns into what one of them calls "night of the living dead," and the conclusion is blunt. "I don't think there's anything over here, man."

The key they already pulled

Back near the main building, one of them spots "the creeper head with the two redstone torches next to it" on a pedestal. Past it is a ladder down and a room full of poisonous spiders. Basket's inventory shows an Antidote (Regeneration II, plus a short dose of Poison, Weakness and Slowness, and it removes all level 1 negative effects). They track down where the spiders are coming from, then go for the switch.

The chat reads "BasketMC and Scoti_Garbidis Arcane Key #2 has been activated." The sign says Arcane Key #2, and they've done this one before. "We've already been here." "It was really exciting though, even the second time."

Scoti_Garbidis stands by a sign reading "Arcane Key #2" and a lever on an obsidian box as the chat reads "BasketMC and Scoti_Garbidis Arcane Key #2 has been activated."

Still one short

They try to think like the map maker: if that was key two, the first might be "above, where we were." One more dark area gets a look, but they've been in it "to a certain degree." They call it there and ask the map maker to "tell us where the key is." The credits roll, and nothing plays after them.

The sidebar closes at Scoti_Garbidis 133 and BasketMC 98. Nobody dies. Arcane Key #2 is activated a second time, no new key is found, and no wool, emerald blocks or upgrade blocks are placed.
