The deaths sidebar opens at Scoti_Garbidis 150 and BasketMC 113. Team B.S. is back at the wool monument with a wool in hand and a plan: "We're going to place the red wool, which may teleport us to some boss. We'll see." They're "all stocked up" on supplies. "Should I do it?" "Yeah, go for it."
Red wool goes in
The chat confirms it: "Scoti_Garbidis and BasketMC Red Wool has been placed. Area defeated: The Invasion." No boss turns up, so it still has to be found. "We're gonna go take this guy's lunch money." One of them has made four stacks of TNT for the job.
Where would a boss live?
They take the teleporter to Intersection 3 and argue it out on the way. It's either in the first castle, which one of them "never even went into," or the second. The other votes for "that domed place that we saw that's like halfway," on the grounds that a guy with "my own special teleporty thing" would put it there. They decide to go "clear to the end" first and see if anything sticks out this time.
There's a book they may have lost to their own TNT, and a short trip back to look for it before it despawns. One of them has the area's text from an earlier episode anyway and reads it out: "The only way to stop them now is to destroy their siege towers and infiltrate their fortress on the other side. After defeating his army, you will have to face" the boss, "the most terrifying enemy you'll ever fight." Since the four towers are already down, "I think we beat his army up already."
The title
On the long walk across, one of them pictures how it might go: they walk up, "a giant devil made out of clay and stuff will rise up out of the lava" and say "too soon." It's a World of Warcraft joke about Ragnaros in Molten Core, and it gives the episode its name.
TNT, water and spawners
The TNT plan has a snag. A lit block sometimes sticks to the edge of the block it sits on instead of falling, "and then it like sits in my face." They worry that blowing things up might wreck a redstone button they need, then reason that anything important in this map has sat in a bedrock box so far.
So it's water buckets ("I have 16 of those waters and then a one bucket"), arrows, and spawners going out one at a time. "I took out a spawner." "Took out another spawner." Super knockback skeletons get a groan. After one blast, one of them is "somewhere completely different," down below and "underneath a whole lot of bad stuff," and has to pillar back up. "Hey, there you are. Together again."
Still no boss
They wonder about the lava inside the main spire, put water down from higher up and end up with "the world's largest cobble generator." Near the end one of them kills a spawner: "I was right next to a charged creeper spawner." The episode closes on the same open question: "I feel like whatever we need is probably inside, I just don't know how to defeat his..."
There is no gameplay after the credits.
The sidebar closes at Scoti_Garbidis 150 and BasketMC 113. This episode: Scoti 0 deaths, Basket 0. Red wool placed. No emerald block or upgrade block is placed.
