The deaths sidebar opens at Scoti_Garbidis 157 and BasketMC 114, and the episode starts in the middle of a mess. Less than two minutes in, chat reads "Scoti_Garbidis was slain by Netherhorde Warrior."
Mobs that swim
The plan had been water to push the mobs back, "and they swam up the water really fast." The bigger problem is the route. "The secret way was not revealed," one of them explains. They did "a little research" and learned the way in is in this building, but on purpose didn't look up exactly how to get there, "because I wanted it to be a bit of an adventure still. That's proving to be maybe not my best choice." Outside the wall, it's "40, 50 mobs right now."
Through the yellow clay
Scoti ends up on the other side of the yellow clay with almost nothing: "I got chestplate. And a sword. And I have arrows and a bow." The fix is to "dig the yellow brick above you," then borrow a pickaxe and some wood to craft a new one.
Digging turns up bedrock, and a lot of it: "this is really big bedrock." One guess is that it's "the room you get teleported to once you find the key."
An Enderman, then a hole
Around eleven minutes, chat shows "Scoti_Garbidis was slain by Enderman." Scoti's gear is now at the bottom of a deep hole, so Basket goes after it with water. Basket's screen goes dark under the water for a while. "I started to drown, I couldn't see, and there was a poisonous spider... but I got your stuff."
The secret door
A room with a creeper spawner has a ladder going down. "There's also piston stuff related to it, so this is a secret door." "I'm totally unprepared for what we're about to do, but let's do it anyway." The floor at the bottom is a trap ("it was silverfish"), and at about twenty minutes chat reads "Scoti_Garbidis was blown up by Creeper." Basket was far enough back to stay alive.
The room below is well lit, with lava and Scoti's things on the floor. Their theory for why the secret way never showed up: "we got punished because we did the catwalk." Coming in from the top was "cheating McCheatersons."
The Unholy Arena
There's a teleporter here, and chat shows both of them teleporting between The Nexus and the Unholy Arena. A sign by a chest says "Read both books before you enter the arena!"
Another set of signs on the wall ends "still have the chance. ~ Protox."
They read both books out loud. One explains an aura in the arena: a shield charged by "the potion that falls to the ground when the creeper dies," and "if any player is without a shield for more than 25 seconds all players will die." The other has the line they came for: "Protox will drop the black wool when you slay him. If you lose the wool it's game over." It also says to "kill the green emerald guard in order to obtain an emerald block for the bonus monument."
Sixty seconds
Through the last door, signs say "You will be teleported into the arena within the next 60 seconds. Good Luck!" and "The 4 shrines next to the wall grant you different buffs for a short period of time." Basket's inventory shows Mining Fatigue, which gets a dry "that's a great buff."
"I'm really scared. Hold me, Basket." The episode cuts there with "See you soon, guys."
There is no gameplay after the credits.
