The deaths sidebar opens at Scoti_Garbidis 160 and BasketMC 114. Last episode ended in the countdown room, and this one picks up right there: "I'm nervous." "Me too." Then the teleport.
The first trip in
The first trip doesn't last. "Oh god, we're in the same spot. There's bad guys." One of them spots "a cage with... iron golem in it" and goes to let it out, and then: "Oh wow, that guy killed me fast." Chat shows "BasketMC was slain by Sentinel" and "Scoti_Garbidis was slain by Sentinel," and the sidebar moves to 161 and 115. "I think it's one of the magma cream guys."
They learn fast that the arena moves them as a pair: "It teleports both of us, just so you know." After respawning, there's a hall of dispensers under signs for blocks, an axe, torches, food and a bucket to restock from.
Killed by magic
The next deaths come as "killed by magic," and the question is the creeper rule from the books. "Did you not have the creeper thing?" They talk it through: when a charged creeper dies it drops a potion, and "if one of us doesn't have the thing then we both die."
A few runs later they call it and start over properly. "Do you want to try and get good gear, and grind through?" The video cuts ahead, and they come back "stocked up."
Torches and water
The new plan is phase one: torch up as much of the arena as they can, on the theory that much of the trouble is natural spawns. One of them also places a water bucket the moment they land. "I think the water thing actually really, really helps." Later one of them gives credit: "I will say the torching is making it easier. So props to you, buddy."
There's an iron golem plan too, using iron blocks and pumpkins, though not all of the iron came along. "You're going to be so mad at me." Around 20 minutes it's "pumpkins, give me pumpkins," then "iron golem!" and "he's beating stuff up. I can hear him."
Protox
Partway through, one of them spots the boss: "He has an orange name." "I think he's a wither skeleton with a bunch of armor on." Around 17 minutes, chat shows "Scoti_Garbidis was killed trying to hurt Protox," and moments later Basket's death screen catches a gold-armored mob under an orange "Protox" name tag, with an "Emerald Guard" tag beside it.
Freeing the golems
The deaths keep coming: chat shows "Scoti_Garbidis was blown up by Creeper," then "BasketMC was slain by Spider," then "Scoti_Garbidis was slain by Spider." "The spiders hit hard." The trapdoor in the middle of the map is no escape: "it just teleports you back into this room, but you still die." The caged golems get another try with a pickaxe. "They might be free." "Wow, they're really dumb." "He's just sitting there, isn't he?"
The episode ends with Basket killed by magic one more time, and a plan to "grab some blocks" for the next trip in.
There is no gameplay after the credits.
The sidebar closes at Scoti_Garbidis 177 and BasketMC 131. This episode: Scoti 17 deaths, Basket 17. No wool, emerald block or upgrade block is placed, and Protox is still standing.
