The death counter reads Scoti 15, Basket 4 as this one opens. Before taking on the palace, they make a last pass around the lake to see if anything is still spawning. A creeper spawner turns up anyway ("boom goes the dynamite"), and some of the coal goes with it.
No road to the front door
They set a chest down at the foot of the palace steps for a drop point, and someone notices there's no path up to the entrance. "Who designs a castle and doesn't put a road going up to it?" The answer they settle on: "Commoners aren't supposed to feel welcomed, I guess." They already know a blaze spawner sits in the ground right in front of the stairs, so the plan is the usual one. Charge in, light everything up, retreat.
Falling sand
Three, two, one, and it goes wrong right away. Creepers, a drop through the floor, and then the chat line: "Scoti_Garbidis was blown up by Creeper." The counter goes to Scoti 16. "Should have known there would be falling sand. Everyone remembers that except for me." The blaze spawner does get taken out. Down in the pit there's XP and arrows, and with a water bucket and one of them standing guard, Scoti goes down after the gear. An axe-carrying mob down there falls and dies on its own. "All my stuff was in here... at least the majority of it. And I didn't have any emeralds or anything, so we're all good."
Two towers
At the top of the steps they split up, one to each front tower. The left one is up a long set of steps and full of creepers. In the right one a spawner gets taken out, but on the way back the sprint key stops working ("Why am I not sprinting?"), so that run ends in a slow retreat. The chests turn up splash potions of instant health. Then the blazes find someone: "I'm on fire, this is very bad. I'm dying." An apple and enough saturation pull it back, and golden apples come out before the next run in.
The throne room
Inside, the palace is packed with mobs carrying axes, archers with magic bows and spawners tucked behind fences, and they light them up one by one. "You think this is my first time playing Ragecraft?" Then comes a big room that looks like a throne room, with an emerald sitting on top. The guards keep spawning, and they call them the Secret Service. One of them gets down to half a heart before the room is clear enough to grab the emerald. In another tower, a chest gets broken on the assumption it was already emptied, which sets off a quick panic over some "magicky boots." They had already been grabbed.
Getting the emerald out
The palace keeps spawning things, so they don't hang around. They run, jump down and land in the water. On the way out they spot a mob wearing armor and holding a book, and decide to keep that spawner. The episode ends with the emerald headed back to base, the counter at Scoti 16, Basket 4, and the monument still at 1 of 16 crystals and 1 of 12 emerald blocks.
