The death counter reads Scoti 21, Basket 11 as this one opens, and Team B.S. is back among the wooden platforms of the big cave. Going up the obvious way looks awful, so they head for a doorway instead. There's a big banner over it, so one of them guesses that's where "one of the guys" is.
Blindfolded archers
It starts with a supply problem. One of them put their arrows down somewhere and can't find them, so the other shares, "just like last time." A spawner goes down, then another. One of the mobs gets called a grandmaster, and neither of them knows what that means.
The ones with bows are new: "blindfolded skeleton guys." They're tough, and Basket tells viewers that anyone who wants to watch somebody actually do well in this level should go watch Scoti's episode. There's an emerald up on a platform, and not every jump on the way there works out. Then: "Got an emerald. All right, let's bring it back." It goes into a chest by the entrance for now.
Reckless abandon
On the way back, chat reads "Scoti_Garbidis fell from a high place," and the counter goes to 22. The explanation is short. "I just jumped down in there, man. You know how I am." "Reckless abandon."
Since the gear is down there now, they decide to clear the bottom floor. If they fall later, at least it won't be the worst thing in the world. One of them snipes from above while the mobs all path toward the other. A creeper spawner goes down, they find an iron ingot, and a mob across the way has what looks like a magical bow. Torches go down everywhere to stop natural spawns.
Tai-Chang, master of water
Past the bottom floor is a hallway lined with signs. Tai-Chang, the master of water, was born the son of a poor fisherman beside the great river and swam in it day and night until Tai-Chang "no longer had to leave the water." These days, the signs say, Tai-Chang "prefers to swim in the tears of his enemies." Scoti's advice: "So no crying, Basket, or he'll have more power."
Chiseled stone in the ceiling ahead looks like a trap. Someone jumps into the hole anyway, since it was their turn to go first. On the other side there are new blocks, creepers running on a platform overhead, and a chest that isn't trapped. It holds Depth Strider boots, and one of them tells the other to take them.
Poisonous spiders
Then one of them gets knocked down into the water, and the water is full of poisonous spiders. "That's my favorite." Something in there hits very hard, and there's an Assassin to deal with too. One of them runs out of arrows right when the other asks for that guy to be taken out.
Chat reads "BasketMC was shot by Assassin," and Basket's count goes to 12. Going back down for the gear doesn't go any better: "BasketMC was slain by Cave Spider," and that's 13. The water is the real problem: "If the water was just a little bit shallower or deeper, then we could avoid the spiders."
The episode ends with both of them in trouble in the spider water, one of them poisoned and asking the other for a platform to stand on. The counter reads Scoti 22, Basket 13. The new emerald is still in a chest, so the monument stays at 3 of 16 crystals and 2 of 12 emerald blocks.
