"All right, the wait is over." Last time ended outside a structure full of lava with a legendary weapon in sight, and Team B.S. is back to find out what's going on in there. The death counter opens at Scoti 34, Basket 19. There's water by the entrance, and the first idea is to make paths that dump it out onto all the lava. There's also a creeper spawner in a pillar to the left.
The diving board of death
The room fights back right away. Two Assassins come at one of them, and someone lands a sword hit on the wrong target. "I hit you with my sword." To get across, one of them builds "a little diving board of death," which they admit is a real bad idea. Creepers spawn right by the path. One of them charges in at the exact moment the other retreats. "I created the badness and you ran into it."
Basket jumps, expecting water below. There isn't any. "BasketMC tried to swim in lava to escape Spider," and the water bucket goes with everything else. The counter moves to Basket 20.
Regearing
Back at the chest, Basket rebuilds with a stone pickaxe and armor that includes a Heavy Battlevest with knockback resistance. A chest turns up fire resistance splash potions, which they figure could come in handy if "the end guy" here has a fire attack. Somewhere along the way one of them goes to jump a walkway, realizes mid-jump it's a pit of lava, and gets knocked safely across by a zombie. "Only instant replay will tell."
Down through the floor
Instead of the hopping puzzle, they cut down through the floor. Below are creepers and a creeper spawner in the far corner, which goes. A chest there gives up a gold pick, torches and an iron sword. Then the plan is to draw the mobs off and climb to the gazebo at the very top to thin their numbers. Blazes show up, Basket complains about getting knocked back anyway, and a minute later the chat reads "BasketMC tried to swim in lava" again. Basket 21.
The water thing
With archers on the ledges and lava everywhere, they let the water out. It floods across the floor, and one of them asks the other not to break the very top of the last spot so nothing can climb up through it. At least now it's safe to fall. "The guy with the magic bow, he irritates me the most." At one point one of them is down to a heart and a half, and a splash potion gets used.
Legendary pants
Then one of them says it's their turn to go in. From a platform in the middle they jump up and find the legendary. One more spawner comes out on the way, though the blaze spawner stays. The prize is a legendary pair of pants, "probably the other part of the set." They carry it out, stash the pants in a chest, and argue briefly about whether anybody needs cauldrons. Scoti's deaths stay at 34 all episode; Basket ends at 21. Nothing goes on the monument this time, so it's still 3 of 16 crystals and 2 of 12 emerald blocks.
