"Welcome back to the scene of the crime." Before anything else, Team B.S. has a lesson to share: if you ever set an emerald block down by accident and want it back, the last thing you should do is hit it with a stone pickaxe. With that settled, they head for the fire sensei's area. The death counter opens at Scoti 34, Basket 21. One of them resets their spawn at a bed and dumps spare supplies in a chest, so a death won't cost them.
Secret sponge
The way in leads back toward "the big dish" in the middle of the lava, which might be hiding something good up top. There's no water bucket this time. "Somebody irresponsible had it." Both of them are wearing their good gear now, so nobody wants to fall in. A creeper goes off, and then, oddly, a sponge turns up. "Secret sponge." A chest holds some magic II books, which they file under "miscellaneous" and don't think much of. A risky jump gets skipped on purpose.
Natural spawns
The next room is packed with skeletons, a zombie and a witch. A spawner sits in there but isn't active, so these look like natural spawns. One of them shoots past the other, and the witch goes down. Then one of them goes in first and finds "guys with blindfolds on," a lot of them, still spawning. Someone catches fire, there are "so many explosions," and they fall back to where there's more room.
Ascended from the lava
In the middle of the retreat, chat lights up: "Wu-Zheng has ascended from the lava and is now back where he originally spawned." One of the blindfolded crowd was the sensei. Since they're all zombies, the hope is they'll keep pathing over, but Wu-Zheng stops short and won't come any further. They'd rather fight on solid ground, so they go to it.
The third Mad Sensei
The spawners are still putting out mobs. One of them goes after a spawner while calling for backup. "I need a hero." Wu-Zheng ends up on a stone walkway between the lava pools, and a moment later the chat says "You have slain a Mad Sensei." Asked what just happened, the answer is simple: "I'm awesome. I used my sword." That's the third of Grandmaster Xin's Mad Senseis down.
One last fall in the lava
They grab some torches and wonder if there's an end boss here or just a prize to pick up. One of them is pretty sure there's a boss. Then an archer starts shooting from the dark, right where they had been walking. "BasketMC tried to swim in lava," and the counter moves to Basket 22. "The good news is, your stuff is gone," so at least nobody has to go fishing for it.
They call it there. "We killed the guy and you died in lava again. Feels like a complete episode." The counter closes at Scoti 34, Basket 22. Nothing goes on the monument this time, so it stays at 3 of 16 crystals and 2 of 12 emerald blocks.
