Team B.S. is back in the halls of Little Mines, where the creepers have started pathing toward them. Nether blocks go into a doorway to keep one out. The death counter opens at Scoti 36, Basket 33.

Shot by a skeleton

The dwarves come in a crowd ("Cross the streams!"), and the spawners here are hidden under half slabs and other junk. Somebody is down to two and a half hearts. One of them is "still waiting for you to catch up on the deaths," and a minute later the chat reads "Scoti_Garbidis was shot by Skeleton."

The respawn is in "that stupid basement," because the bed never got moved. The gear is on the far side of the central room, near a row of furnaces, with "little Scoti bits splashed all over the place." This time the bed gets reset before anyone goes anywhere.

Item recovery

Basket heads for the drop. "Get the armor, empty all of your stuff and just run by there." The middle pillar is full of mobs, food is down to two haunches, and the boss they knocked into the well last time is back, "he had a little axe and stuff." An emerald they left by the well gets picked up on the way.

The gear goes into chests by the furnaces, but when they sort through it, something is missing. "I only see two pieces." The pants and the helmet are there. The chestplate and boots are not. The mask's tooltip lists set buffs, Jump Boost IV among them, and that's what hurts. "I'm gonna miss that armor. It was the only thing that gave me an edge." The Windfury Pants are on offer (speed, less health), but speed was never the problem: "I just don't have the jump boost."

Closing the middle column

The mobs keep coming from one-high openings below the furnaces and from a spawner inside the middle column. They block what they can, find more spawners behind a painting and up top, and still watch mobs get in. "They must be spawning through the wall." Eventually the leftovers are trapped in the middle, which suits everyone fine.

Then a green carpet floor. "Walkover. Whoo! Happy puzzle!" Nobody quite believes it: "I don't trust you, Heliceo." Past it, a chest sits on a pillar in a glass room, and in it is the crystal.

"Lime crystal, boom."

Six of sixteen

There's still a chest over water that looks like "a trap if I ever saw one," and the block it needs has to come out with an iron pickaxe, which they don't have. They'll come back. A half-slab barrier holds back a pile of mobs while they check the middle for anything left, because nobody wants to miss an emerald.

At the monument, the Lime Crystal goes in and the chat says it plainly.

Scoti runs past the monument's row of colored crystals as chat reads "Congratulations! You have defeated: LITTLE MINES"

"Taste the rainbow." That's 6 of 16 crystals, with emerald blocks still at 3 of 12. They think there are one or two emeralds left in the bottom trench area, so the plan is to go back down. The counter closes at Scoti 37, Basket 33. "Trench Warfare, next time!"
