Team B.S. starts at the top of The Last Sorcerer's tower and works down this time, lighting up each section on the way. The first discovery is a happy one: Basket still has the pants from Xin's armor set. The death counter opens at Scoti 40, Basket 36.
Room by room
The rooms below are packed. Creepers climb the ledges, witches lurk around corners, and a crowd of jack o'lantern-headed mobs they call "dirt head guys" fills one floor. Those have thorns, "so keep in mind they'll knock you back." Water goes down to push them away, hallways get blocked up, and a dirt spawner comes out.
Near a bridge there's an emerald. "All right, this room is secure with the emerald." It goes into a chest for safekeeping. A chest in another room gives up a Magic Wand (Smite IV, Fire Aspect II, Knockback II).
Through the floor
Then the blaze spawner outside starts causing trouble. One of them gets poisoned by a witch, one blaze spawner comes out, and then Basket drops out of sight. Chat reads "BasketMC was burnt to a crisp whilst fighting Blaze." Basket's version: "I was going after that witch, she blew a hole in the floor. I fell through."
Scoti drops into the hole to look for the gear, and it goes badly fast. "This was a terrible idea. I don't have a bow." A Lightning Elemental blows Scoti up a minute later. Basket regears from the chests back at base and comes back on the rails.
Made of wool
The second trip down shows why everything keeps burning. "Stop putting the wool on fire, please." "This whole stupid tower is made out of wool." Floors are missing, fire is everywhere, and the pants are gone for good. "Sorry, everybody who loved the Xin armor."
Creepers and witches keep coming from a room full of hay bales, and the witches heal each other faster than arrows land. A Lightning Elemental blows Scoti up again. That's when the idea comes up to skip the rest of the tower for now: "We have enough emeralds, we could turn in the thing."
First they salvage what they can. One room gets filled with water and its spawner broken, and there's already a chest in it to pile recovered gear into. "As far as getting my stuff back goes, this is a near perfect situation." They also spot a protection shrine, bedrock in a corner that used to hold a pressure plate. Then creepers start dropping in from the burning carpet overhead, and one blows Scoti up for the third time this episode.
The fourth emerald block
Back at the monument, Scoti places the fourth emerald block and chat announces "The ancient gods have sent you a present." The reward chest holds Rocket Boots: Protection III, Feather Falling IV, Unbreaking V, Jump Boost III and +8% Speed. "They can't kill what they can't catch."
The block also buys an upgrade. They read through the options: more Life Drain healing, an AFK heal, Adrenaline Rush, Tainted Arrows, and a Frenzy upgrade that would take their 65% chance of Strength after a kill to 100%. They settle on Divine Shield, two absorption hearts that refresh every 70 seconds. "Who doesn't like extra hearts?" Chat confirms "Basic DIVINE SHIELD upgrade has been unlocked."
The counter closes at Scoti 43, Basket 37. The monument stands at 6 of 16 crystals and 4 of 12 emerald blocks.
