Red Key: Ragecraft 3 Episode 91

  • Published on

"Welcome back, everybody. To friends forever, but apart." The episode opens on Basket's screen down in the lava cavern, blazes everywhere. One of them fell into a spot that turned out to be the wrong one, and with very few blocks left, the plan is to dig a way up. The death counter reads Scoti 61, Basket 51.

A staircase out

Basket cuts stairs up through the sandstone instead of pillaring, so there's a way back down for the rest of the items. Ghasts and a blaze keep shooting from somewhere, and the guy with the minions shows up too. "I should not have pursued so much adventure." The stairs come out by the main staircase, the two of them meet up, and nobody has to end the episode early.

The Red Key

They clear spawners on the way back in, including a creeper spawner, and the emerald they spotted earlier is "still here, in the box." It gets carried to the chest at the start of the level. Someone asks about an ender chest. "We don't do that in this game." It's a rule.

Next is a house with a fake painting and an elite that goes down fast. Inside, the loot goes by out loud: a Reinforced Iron Chestplate, a Knockback II book, an Efficiency IV book. Then, "Red key."

A small stone brick room with red wool behind a block marked with a sign reading "Red Key", a chest below it, and the death counter at Scoti_Garbidis 61, BasketMC 51

One of them bets it's "three out of" something, then stops. Maybe there's a part they missed. They run the key back, dancing around the lava at the front door and the holes in the floor.

Tempest gear and a weird block

After a short break they head back out. Some old blocks can't be broken with an axe "to save my life," and an enderman gets angry. In one room they suspect a trap, so they dig around the base of it to reveal "where all the nasties are." The large chest inside holds a Diamond Axe, a Glistening Sword, and, by the audio, a Tempest chestplate and Tempest pants. Whoever's wearing the Tempest pieces argues it isn't a real set. "They all give me 7% speed." "But there's no set bonus."

A large chest full of vines and sponges, with the tooltip "Potion of Vitality", "Health Boost II (6:30)" and "+8 Max Health"

There's also a purple-and-black checkered block, and one of them wants a monument just for the weird blocks, sponge included.

The Summoner

Deeper in, holes in the ground covered in vines start pouring out charged creepers. Then the portal noise. "When he spawns in, guys, it makes a portal noise."

Burning mobs with purple swords in a jungle cave beside a sandstone wall, frost sparkles in the air, and the chat line "[Summoner] Rise up, my minions! Kill the intruder!" shown twice

A frost trap helps ("frost trap in the crack is the best"), the target keeps slipping out of bow range, and someone guesses it has projectile protection. Eventually: "I think he's dead. All right! Sweet! We're awesome." Then they go after its spawner, a blazing creeper spawner and a creeper spawner, and the "boogeyman's tower" goes down too.

The guards in the house

The last stop is a house with witches, skeletons on the roof, and a spawner in the middle of the room. One of them ends up on fire and poisoned for a while. A Tyllorian Bow-Blade in a chest there shows Power III, Punch I, Sharpness VII and Knockback I on its tooltip.

Mobs in yellow armor with purple swords in a room with bookshelves and a red carpet, dropped items everywhere, the chat line "Scoti_Garbidis was slain by Summoner's Guard" and the death counter at Scoti_Garbidis 62, BasketMC 51

Summoner's Guards in yellow armor pile into the room, and right at the end the chat reads "Scoti_Garbidis was slain by Summoner's Guard." The counter closes at Scoti 62, Basket 51. The monument isn't shown, so it stays at 9 of 16 crystals and 6 of 12 emerald blocks.
