The episode opens mid-fight, with Summoner's Guards burning in a wooden room, and someone already on the way back for their stuff. "Should I just come back and collect my stuff?" The way in isn't obvious ("I'm not even sure where I'm going"), and the zombies keep coming. "The never ending story." The death counter starts at Scoti 62, Basket 51.
A room full of books
It doesn't take long for the counter to move. The chat reads "Scoti_Garbidis was blown up by Blazing Creeper," and Scoti is at 63. One of them is running back slower than before, because "all my good armor is in the room with you."
The room is worth it, though. "There's a lot of good books in there, if we can avoid having a blow up." Somebody brings out lava ("We got lava!" "Good call."), and one of them grabs a bunch of the books before a super creeper blows out part of the room. The haul read out includes a Fire Aspect book, a magic stone shovel and some bottles.
Too many to stay
Mobs keep dropping in through a hole in the ceiling, so one of them blocks it up. It doesn't help much. "These guys hit a lot." A skeleton keeps shooting, a creeper almost goes off behind someone, and the plan changes: "We can't sit in that building anymore." Then the Summoner's Guards win one. "BasketMC was slain by Summoner's Guard," and Basket is at 52.
The chest blows up
Basket's hotbar has a Frost Trap on it now. They head for the next building, past skeletons, witches and poisonous spiders, and one of them ends up on the roof. "I put down a frost trap." Then a skeleton gets Basket again: "BasketMC was shot by Skeleton," 53. "I love the fact that the frost trap quits working as soon as you die."
The dropped gear goes into a chest, and a creeper sneaks up while it's being sorted. "The creeper blew up the chest." What turns up afterward is a power 2 bow ("that's not really awesome"), a random hat, a chestplate and some pants. "I'm crying on the inside right now." Boots are gone, and the Frost Trap is "dead" too.
Infernal Platelegs
Low on torches, they split what they have ("I'll give you half my torches") and go up the stairs to the bad guys. The creepers seem faster now. "I swear they're blowing up faster now." At the top there's a little stone room with a spawner, potted plants and a chest under a sign: "Infernal Platelegs."
One of them calls it "a legendary thing" and reads the stats out loud, then puts it in the chest so the other can look. The tooltip says Rare Item: Protection IV, Fire Protection II, Unbreaking X, plus 10% max health and 1.5 attack damage. "Oh, they probably don't break, I guess."
"Man, this is a weird episode." They take the loot back and stop there. The counter closes at Scoti 63, Basket 53. The monument isn't shown, so it stays at 9 of 16 crystals and 6 of 12 emerald blocks.
