There's an emerald on the floor of a room below them, and the first worry is keeping it from getting blown up. The counter reads Scoti 67, Basket 53 at the start. By the end it reads Scoti 67, Basket 64.
The emerald comes out first
The room is bad from the first look. A spawner sits in the middle pillar, another one is spawning creepers, and there are witches too. "Try not to let creepers blow up if you can, the emerald is on the ground." Basket's first death comes fast, and the chat says "BasketMC hit the ground too hard."
While Basket respawns, Scoti goes in. "I got the emerald." Scoti grabbed it, pillared up, and brought some of Basket's stuff out too. Most of it is still down there, though, with creepers standing on it.
Going back for the gear
"Last time it was my stuff, this time it's your stuff." Basket gets told "you just need 13 more deaths," which would square the counter. Death number two is "BasketMC was blown up by Blazing Creeper." The middle spawner turns out to be blazes, and the creepers may have blown up their own spawner, along with some of the gear.
Nine Summoner's Guards
Then the guards show up. "Those guys hit hard." "They got thorns, man." Basket keeps dropping back into the room, partly to grab things and partly to reset the despawn clock on the pile: "I did refresh the timer on a bunch of my stuff." Each trip ends the same way, with "BasketMC was slain by Summoner's Guard (Elite)." That line comes up nine times.
The other plan is to block off the stairs and doorway the mobs keep using, while witches throw poison and charged creepers wander in. They keep coming back to one thing: "We got the emerald. That is the most important thing." The gear can be rebuilt. After the last run, Basket has "very little of my stuff, way less than I wanted."
Healing potions and a fresh start
Basket brews a couple of healing potions, since nothing in the new kit is enchanted. The room is not secure, and it's still "filled up with a bunch of bad guys," so they walk away from it. They go back through the teleporter room to intersection three and head for the front of the level, where they skipped things earlier. On the way, one of them hands over 12 potatoes.
The front of the level
Up a path past a skeleton and some lava, the area is "all lit up," and they have barely explored it. One of them exposes a spawner, a blaze one, and later another spawner goes down. The super creepers can't be killed in one hit anymore with the weaker sword. They mine some iron, with a joke about falling in lava to auto smelt it, step around holes in the ground, and turn up another emerald.
That's the end. One of them asks for the name of the Tom Cruise movie the other has been remaking in Minecraft, the one where you live, die and repeat, and neither of them can remember it. Nobody else died. The monument isn't shown, so it stays at 9 of 16 crystals and 6 of 12 emerald blocks.
