Cinderblood Chapel: Ragecraft 3 Episode 105

  • Published on

The counter reads 70 deaths each going in, still tied after the charged creeper last time. Scoti is decked out in gold. "I'm all gold, he's a paladin." The first job is finding the "hellraiser cage face guys" they spotted at the end of the last episode.

Fences against cage faces

The cage faces are past the lava on the same level, along with spider webs and a spawner. One of them breaks the spawner and runs, "but boy did it look like there were some angry guys in there." A few fences go down across the hall so they can fight from behind them. The poison still lands. "TBS is not the best against poison." One of them guesses these pigmen drop the same bad potions as the "football players" from last time.

Down one side, the ovens have heads cooking in them: "There's cooked Minecraft heads in these ovens." Fences run short fast. One of them has four, the other three, so it's a "team effort." Another spawner gets broken just as more mobs spawn on top of it. An iron pressure plate on an altar gives one of them a scare, though nothing happens.

A scared trap and an emerald

The next room is dark, with pigmen to the left, poison spiders, fences in the floor and an emerald in sight. They leapfrog the fences forward, recycling the ones behind them "as long as we leave one behind us." Grabbing the emerald sets something off. "Run away, run away!" It seems to be a "scared trap," not "really a trap trap," though something above them is open now and nobody is sure it always was. The emerald is safe, so they set down a chest, store it with some junk and head upstairs.

Carpet on the fence

Up there, poisonous spiders "like to read," and a crowd of pigmen sits right over their heads. When they block it off, one of them gets stuck on their own fence and backs into a corner to heal. The fix is a carpet on top of the fence. Mobs can't jump over it, but the players can. A viewer had passed along that hint, and it "saved our life."

The chapel

The last big room has red carpet, pews and fire at the altar. "This is like a church." It looks like the place where the quest item will be. Pigmen spawn in the library behind them and come up the stairs, so the doors get blocked one at a time.

Then an "orange name guy" shows up. "He is the Cinderblood cult leader." "Thorns is my favorite," but the fight still drags on. "This guy took forever to kill." It drops 50 bottles of experience, and one of them ends up with a monster spawner item.

The inner core

Writing on a wall mentions "the inner core of the temple," and it's all lava down there. A chest nearby has a splash potion read out as "purification." "Nope, we don't want that." They find a water bucket, block off the room behind them and stop there.

Nobody dies, so it's still 70 each. The monument isn't shown, so it stays at 10 of 16 crystals and 7 of 12 emerald blocks.
