Ruby Sabre: Ragecraft 3 Episode 108

  • Published on

The counter reads 72 for Scoti and 71 for Basket going in. Last time they took out a ghast spawner, and they know not to turn right because there's lava there, so the first job is putting it out with water. Ghasts are still around, so there must be more than one ghast spawner. Some "arcane trap" potions get left where they are until they come back this way.

The blaze spawner

The pigmen keep coming around the side, so a fence goes in to stop them. Some glass by the brick looks odd until one of them decides "it's for the trap I bet." Then they charge. The rule from last time still holds: "don't stay next to him" when one of these pigmen dies. One of them made a hole in the roof earlier, thinking the blazes were coming down through it.

The blaze spawner sits on the right as they loop around. One of them eats and heals up first, then they go. "Blaze spawner down." The lava next to it gets put out too. A ladder leads up, a skeleton spawner goes down, and the room at the top is "just freaky netherrack."

A sword behind the bar

Back down, one of them had taken the setup for a bar, "and the blaze was behind it, like he was gonna be dishing out hot treats to us." What's actually there is a chest with a legendary sword in it: the Ruby Sabre, with Sharpness V, Fire Aspect V, Knockback IV and Unbreaking II. "That's a lot of fire aspect." The other sword in use is "an almost dead advanced prismatic sword," so it's good timing. They test whether the "dark-red glow" shows up on the player. "Am I glowing?" "No."

Pigmen in the pit

The next room has a pit in the middle and a poison spider spawner that's already active. They go in with water buckets ready and back out again. The pigmen don't follow. For some reason they run into the water and end up down in the pit. "Team kill the pig guys! Yay!" Another spawner turns up in the ceiling and gets broken.

Upstairs there's a room of magic books worth carrying back. A ghast hides in the ceiling until one of them gets a look at it and kills it. Killing the regular pigmen gives regeneration, which helps them heal faster between fights.

Charged creepers and an emerald

Charged creepers are still spawning upstairs, and there's an emerald up there too. The first push goes badly. Somebody gets poisoned and it's "Team runaway!" The tougher pigmen also get speed when they're splashed. On the second try the charged creeper spawner goes down. "I got the charge creeper." Up in the next building there are spider and skeleton spawners and "something else," and the cage-faced pigmen show up again.

The emerald comes out of a chest up top, along with a Bloodsoaked Cap with Protection IV and +15% max health. Then a "special guy" in gold shows up. "He's fast now."

A rocket jump toward the lava

"I'm down in the hole, retreat." On Basket's screen, Basket goes flying into a lava cavern, "like rocket jump," and lands about three blocks from the lava. A water bucket from earlier was already down there, so Basket puts water on the obsidian and comes up out of it. The fire gear helped too. "Luckily you survived."

They call it there to catch their breath. Nobody dies, so the counter still reads 72 and 71. The monument isn't shown, so it stays at 10 of 16 crystals and 7 of 12 emerald blocks, with another emerald now waiting to be placed.
