The episode starts in the middle of a fight. A gold-armored mob with a gold name tag reading "Cinderblood Cultleader" is right there, and it has thorns ("Oh yeah, he was thorns, I forgot"). It goes over the edge into the lava, and one of them is carrying Knockback IV. "Now I can start the episode, 'cause he just went in lava." It doesn't die down there, but they leave it. "There's a spawner for him," so they figure it will despawn. The counter reads Scoti 72, Basket 71.
Blazes in every corner
A ghast gets shot down, and both of them claim it. Fences go across the stairs so the pigmen stop looping around the side. Then they find a sign offering a fire resistance potion, which one of them reads as "a trap." The potion only lasts 15 seconds, and the cavern ahead has blaze spawners up on platforms, "like one at every corner."
Running through on 15 seconds of fire resistance "sounds like a bad idea," so one of them goes up and picks the spawners off one at a time while the other holds the bottom and keeps the pigmen from spawning nearby. The stairs up have a trick in them: a two-by-two hole in the steps. "If you'd gotten used to just running up the stairs, you would have just ran right off." "Sneaky stinker."
The Purple Crystal
At the top is a chest on a glowstone pillar in a glass room. "Got it. Yeah, I got it." "Good job, man. You're the best." On the way out, pigmen fill in behind them, and they remember an emerald they had walked past earlier. "I thought we grabbed it." They hadn't, but now they have.
Back at the monument, Basket has the Purple Crystal in hand, and it goes on the wall. Chat reads "Congratulations! You have defeated: CINDERBLOOD TEMPLE." "Five to go, man, we are killing it here at the end." They celebrate with pork chops. One of them is happy to have stopped losing all their gear, "despite my best efforts to knock you into the lava."
Dragonscale Boots
The level is beaten, but the emeralds aren't all collected, so they go back in for an "emerald hunt." The first chest has a sign over it reading "Dragonscale Boots." The tooltip lists Protection IV, Fire Protection III, Thorns III, +20% max health and an effect called Scorched Earth: "Constantly deals damage to all mobs around you." "Holy moly." One of them tries them on and finds the boots hurt the pigmen without making them angry. "We need to keep those for like mob grinders."
Football guys and a near miss
Downstairs it's blazes, lava pools to put out with water buckets, and pigmen they call "football guys." A lapis block sits by a lava pit looking like a trap, so it waits until the area is safe. The unwanted blocks go in "trash corner." Knockback holds a doorway for a while ("they're flying back like crazy"), but the pigmen splash potions when they die, and a room full of spawners and lava catches one of them alone. "I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die." They back up and get out of it, and nobody dies.
They clear the spawner room, grab the lapis and drop water over the last of the lava. Then they go down into the room below, and there's an emerald. "Alright, I got the emerald." "Yeah, this is a long episode."
Nobody died, so the counter still reads 72 and 71. The monument now has 11 of 16 crystals. No emerald block is shown going in, so it stays at 7 of 12, with more emeralds waiting to be placed.
