Back in Fort Vhisarion, and the counter opens at Scoti 98, Basket 75.
No blocks
The plan is to clear the spawners out front and then go into the building, even though its stairs are gone. First problem: "I don't have any blocks in my bar." A trip to the chest doesn't fix it. "Lost all my blocks, I guess." The other one has thirty-five.
Fire-starting mobs are spawning upstairs in the building, and the floor is missing in places. It doesn't take long for things to catch. "I'm on fire!" That matters here, since mobs in this level get stronger when someone nearby is burning.
The Omnivore
Upstairs, on the second floor, a legendary item has survived the explosions. On Basket's screen it goes from the chest into the inventory: "Omnivore - The all-consuming Monster." It's a pickaxe with Efficiency VI, Sharpness VI and Knockback II, plus 12.5 attack damage. The flavor text reads "Blocks ... mobs ... anything to still that hunger." "Oh, it eats anything."
Out on the walkways, two more spawners sit at the end of a run. "I'm gonna smash them to bits." Done, and they back off.
Knockback
The Warlocks are still a mystery. When they get hit they do something odd, and nobody can say what yet. Part of it becomes clear on the stairs. "The Warlocks have knockback." Silverfish join in, and one of them can't get up to the ceiling, where more mobs may be spawning. It gets close. "I have three hearts." "I'm about to get murderized."
Into the lava
Then one of them falls all the way down into the lava and ends up in a single block of water with obsidian on three sides. "I'll never be able to do that again, not in a million years."
Basket's screen shows the long trip back to base, to grab blocks and set the spawn point there. "I can't believe how far back you went." There's also talk of picking up a new frost trap from intersection 4 on the way back.
That's where they stop. "It might be a short one, guys."
This episode's deaths: none. The counter stays at Scoti 98, Basket 75. The monument isn't shown, so the totals carry over: 14 of 16 crystals and 10 of 12 emerald blocks.
