There is a whole other level under the jungle, and this episode is about getting across it to the box that holds the wool. It's a short one, and the basement takes its share. The death counter starts at Basket 21, Scoti 14 and ends at 23 and 16.
A whole other level
"Oh, dude, there's a whole another level down here. I'm not even joking." The floor below is gravel, dirt and dark water, and across it sits a big glass and brick structure. They call it the fleecy box. "Let's survey the area before we just run in like crazy."
That lasts about a minute. A zombie spawner turns up in the dirt near the water and gets covered back up. There's a skeleton spawner somewhere they can't find, reeds worth saving, and a watermelon sitting out in the open. Then the arrows start. "Dealing with dudes in water is horrible."
The diving board
Rather than clear the room, they go for the box. One of them has plenty of planks, so they build out over the water, a "diving board," with the idea of running off the end and pillaring up the side. "This is a Scoti idea."
One of them makes it. "I'm on the box!" Basket doesn't, and the death screen says shot by Skeleton. Most of that gear ends up at the bottom of the water. "It's my fault. I shouldn't listen to you." The reply: "No, you should have listened sooner."
While one waits up top, a spawner nearby gets broken. It turns out to be a spider spawner. They put torches out on the platform so mobs spawn on the way in, not on top of them.
Going back for the stuff
The trip back down for the lost items goes badly. Someone gets knocked off, the chat says "Scoti_Garbidis was blown up by Creeper," and a moment later Basket respawns in the safe room, shot by a skeleton again. "That room is horrible." "That's supposed to be the easy one, you said."
A little later Scoti is shot by a skeleton too. "This is a really terrible idea. I never should have went back down in here."
Inside the fleecy box
The box gets opened at last. "Look at this nifty little box. I made this, how I got in." Whoever built it got trapped down there and cut their way in. On a count of three they open the chest, and it's packed with white wool. "Holy moly, wool and a half."
From their talk, a box like this normally holds about three wool. They plan to take one each, then decide on a few extras for beds.
They also catch sight of lava through some render glitches, which makes Desolate Blast Foundry look like trouble. Two more iron ingots would make a lava bucket. "I'm not really sure how safe a lava bucket is in my hands."
Plans, and one more chest
On the way out they take the crafting bench and talk about turning the room upstairs into a bigger tree area, maybe with a potato farm if they can dig water in from the intersection. Not everyone is sold on a mob grinder. Grinding for enchants or arrows would take a long time.
Before the sign-off there's a chest up high, then a second one. Inside: an enchanted golden sword, called out as Sharpness III, plus leggings, gunpowder, fish, chicken and an ender pearl. They're not allowed to make ender chests, so what the pearl is for is still open.
Scoti asks viewers to post what they want to see next. "Maybe you want us to go back down to that hole underneath the tree. We probably won't do it even if you ask."
