This episode is cleanup before a new path. There's a tour of what got built off camera, one more trip into the basement for chests, and then a first look at the next path. The death counter reads Basket 26, Scoti 16 at the start, and it never moves.
The tour
Scoti does the intro and says Basket has been working off camera. The continuity chest got too small, so now there are more chests: baked potatoes, armor, bows, a box labeled "Scoti's New Gear", and food split into stacks of 32 "so that way you can just grab a stack without like taking 64 potatoes and then dying right away."
The big tree is gone, cut down and swapped for smaller jungle trees. The skeleton and zombie spawner rooms got bigger. Mobs drop a long way down and come back up through two water elevators into one spot, which makes it an XP grinder. Water was also brought all the way from the intersection down to a new farm, which is where the potatoes and carrots came from. They mention they got Amlup's blessing to build things like this.
The grinding shows. Basket's XP bar reads 89 levels. The other count mentioned is 29. There's still no anvil to spend them on.
One more chest
Before moving on, someone wants a second opinion about a chest spotted in a wall downstairs. They climb down the dirt, light things up and dodge skeleton arrows. A sword breaks on the way. The chest is real, and the bow inside is a strange one.
"Power one sharpness bow. That's odd."
Cleaning out the basement
The floor down here is where the wool was, and it's crowded with spawners. There's a spider spawner they walked right past, creepers coming at them, and a skeleton shooting from below. One of them ends up in the water down to three hearts and calls for help. "I'm so scared." The other gets there in time.
Torches on a zombie spawner don't stop the zombies, so they break it, then a second one in the corner. Two zombie spawners side by side aren't worth keeping, they decide, since the grinder already has one. But if they find a creeper spawner, please don't destroy it.
Another chest turns up with chainmail, two boats and a bowl of mushroom stew. One of them hands the other a boat, just in case.
Leaving the water alone
Torches are running low, with 22 left. They think about searching the deep water, but the bottom is all gravel, so there's no trick to spot. "Maybe we'll regret it." They take the first sugar cane of the map and eat on the ladder on the way up, since it doesn't slow you down.
Back at base, someone has a pocket full of fence pieces and no idea where they came from. The bow chest had eight of them in it, right there on screen. There's a reminder too: don't burn any coal you find, because the Fortune pick needs it.
Orange wool
The orange wool is next, behind Desolate Blast Foundry. One of them thinks it might be a step up in difficulty and remembers a peek inside with a render glitch that was "no bueno."
The sign at the door is a shutdown notice "as ordered by Azarian officials," citing a "lack of regard for safety in a hostile workplace." Inside there's a lava floor, lava dripping from the ceiling, furnaces, and a spawner with crafting tables and a chest. They take a look around and sign off at about 17 minutes.
