This is a short one, about 15 minutes, and it's mostly chests. The Tower of Light keeps handing them loot, and they keep opening it on a count of three. The death counter starts at Basket 33, Scoti 20 and ends at 34 and 20. The one death is a fall.
Glowstone instead of torches
It opens on a creeper and "is this the end of the next episode?" It isn't. They block themselves off from a spider they want to keep, and then admit the problem: they're out of torches. "I have no torches and no glowstone." The other one has a stack of glowstone, so that's the light for now.
The first chests give up books, item frames and one of the rare Azarian Trading Gems. Another has an enchanted book with Feather Falling IV. "My gear's packed right now." There's talk of putting a couple of chests down by the ladders to make a little stop, but first a mob with "a magical bow" has to go. "This is gonna be another one of my intros. I'm gonna die."
Four grates
They climb up on ledges, find a zombie spawner and a skeleton spawner, and spot a chest you're supposed to reach from the other side. Then, a little after four and a half minutes, chat reads "BasketMC fell from a high place."
The trouble was a floor of grates. "If there's four grates by each other then you can actually fall through the middle." The plan had been to jump over them because they didn't look trustworthy. "I should have just gone down the middle." Basket respawns with nothing, pulls gear back out of the chests and re-equips: "Pants, boots, pick, second pick." Food is running low too. "Remember when we were gonna run stuff upstairs? Didn't really work."
The recording pauses while they get back together. When it picks up: "No more dying this episode." That holds.
The glowstone vein
A chest on the way up has fire charges and gold gear, and someone takes the golden pickaxe. Another chest has something with Fortune III. "Be careful with that." Then they dig into a whole wall of glowstone. One chest holds a wooden tool they keep up there for mining it. "It's wooden so it won't last too long, but it'll be a great glowstone supply."
The glowstone was hiding two spawners, and they didn't survive the digging. "Aw, I'm sorry dude, it was a reaction." The apology comes with a promise: "Next time I dig into a giant vein of glowstone, I'll not kill any of the spawners."
The furnace room
Next is a room of furnaces with spawners hidden all around it: zombie on one side, skeleton on the other, and a skeleton carrying what might be a knockback sword. Two spawners turn out to be stacked on top of each other. "I'm trying to learn from my mistakes." They keep them for now. Glowstone will stop them too, since a spawner just needs its area lit.
The furnaces hold glowstone, bread and potions: poison, healing, swiftness, and an "energy drink."
Hoppers
The last chest is the big one. "Ooh, hoppers! Oh my god, I'm so excited." There are golden leggings with Fire Protection IV, a golden axe with Smite IV and Unbreaking II, and more books. A zombie pops up right over a shoulder while they're looking, so there's another spawner close by.
Inventory space is full, so the plan is to haul it all to a drop spot up top. They've been recording for an hour and six minutes, and they call it there.
