Witch Inn: Untold Stories 3 Episode 38

  • Published on

A long one in the Forlorn Legacy village. They clear an inn with numbered rooms and witches, decide some of these spawners are worth keeping, and finally get close to having iron for an anvil. Scoti does not make it through the episode in one piece.

A more dramatic combat sequence

In through the catwalk, with a spawner blocking the stairs and the far door blocked off. One of them lights the fireplace. Surely the place will catch fire, which will make for a more dramatic combat sequence. Poisonous spiders come up through the floor, a skeleton spawner goes down, and someone keeps eating cookies as regular food when there is better stuff in the bag.

Then a chest that is a freaking cornucopia: rabbit stew, a golden apple, apples to stack. A magic book drops too, with Knockback and Bane of Arthropods on it. At one point both their screens flash, like some program window opened and closed, and they check that the recording is still running.

Room number five

Upstairs, the rooms are numbered like an inn, and some of them have witches. Room four has a spider spawner. Room five has a witch and a chest with record 11 in it. The witch spawners get lit up rather than broken, and so does a skeleton spawner and a zombie spawner in a room full of plants. With two witch spawners close together, this might be a good spawner spot. The witches drop healing potions when they die.

Someone's pickaxe breaks with nothing but wood to replace it, so cobble changes hands, and a helmet is still missing. One of them ends up using an axe to cut through quartz.

Enough for an anvil, maybe

A diamond and four more iron come out of one chest, which might finally be enough for an anvil. Also an ender pearl, a potion and a shield. Somebody plays one of the records, picks the worst one, and announces he has ruined his recording.

From the roof, the castle is in view, and the town itself looks nice: every building has a little sign out front saying what it is. If it did not have so many spawners, it would be a cool little town to walk around. They will keep circling counterclockwise through the buildings they have not done, hunting for hidden emeralds.

Zero stars

The next house has a spawn egg for pigs, which is valuable, another ender pearl, a Bane of Arthropods III book and another shield, which is good, because one of the shields is almost dead. The floor is lava again, and different, which they both notice.

Then a wall with twelve creepers behind it, by one count, and a chest that turns out to be no chest at all. Zero stars. This house is stupid. Two percent on Rotten Tomatoes.

Take me to church

In the next building a creeper finds Scoti. Chat reads Scoti_Garbidis was blown up by Creeper, and his things scatter, some of them down a level. He respawns at the church and makes his way back while the other one blocks off the room and fends off zombies. Between them they recover the night vision torches, the chestplate, the healing potions and his shield.

The building is full of bad guys in every room, and one of them is out of torches at the worst moment. A chest with an Infinity book and leather for a helmet follows. There is no crafting bench in this house, so what kind of house is this. Last up, iron pants, more iron and more TNT. They agree it is the end of the episode, and with agreement, they sign off.
