For all your crybox related needs

Scoti opens by explaining that he was going to do a side-by-side with Basket, but Basket didn't want to be his friend anymore. It's cool.

A zombie pigman wanders by and leaves them alone. There is a sign on a door: Crybox, for all your crybox related needs. Another warns about the next house, the one that heard you like ladders and creepers. A chest gives up a Cryway Construction Tool, which is a bucket of water, and a squid egg named Mr. Squittles. There is a pigman spawner too, which might make a gold farm later.

Then a house labeled War Never Changes, with a painting inside called WarNeverChanges' Scream: Sharpness III, Knockback II, Looting II, Fire Protection V. They guess these are references to things they just don't know.

The axe that breaks everything

Four iron in one chest, TNT in another. That chest is made for you. Poison spiders under the stairs take someone down to half a heart. Basket shows off his new axe, which breaks wood in about one click and is a little dangerous to swing around indoors. Golden carrots and a golden apple go into the bags.

From a rooftop, with the night vision torch, they can see a watchtower, a graveyard and a church. Off to the right a waterfall runs up to a hidden emerald. The waterfall turns out to lead up to a higher level, so they note it and leave it for later.

Here lies Gadgetlam

The graveyard has zombies in it, because there are spawners under the grave markers: six zombie spawners and a skeleton spawner, by their count. They light them all up rather than break them. Every grave reads the same thing: R.I.P. Gadgetlam. Maybe the markers are for people who tested the map, so it seems only fair to go look. One grave holds an iron sword and a Thorns chestplate.

Then they climb in through a window, and it goes badly. There is lag, the room keeps spawning skeletons, and Scoti, at two hearts and not watching his health after a while in a safe zone, gets shot. Chat reads Scoti_Garbidis was shot by Skeleton. It's the Scoti way. Basket grabs his stuff, and Scoti makes the long walk back, taking fall damage on the way.

Disarming the church

The chest in the church is trapped, with gravel underneath it. Instead of springing it, they dig in from below, clearing pews to make room and tracing the redstone. There are invisible signs on the pews acting as arm rests. It is a reverse trap with more than one pressure plate, and breaking the lowest one seems to do it, letting loose a few skeletons and creepers from spawners in the wall. Inside: a slime ball, a notch apple and flint and steel. We're so smart.

Emerald 33

The next building is built so mobs drop on your head from a catwalk. Spider spawners, creepers, poisonous spiders in the corner. One of them pillars up into the attic and nearly gets swarmed there. But in the back, behind the last spawner, there is an emerald. Which one is that? 33.

A chestplate is about to break. Did they get any more iron? Yes, they did. See you next time.
