Two more houses and the Forlorn Legacy village is done, except for the market. That is the plan, anyway. First, from up on the roofs, a proper look at what comes next.
Another castle
It is close. There is a front gate and lava on both sides, so they will have to watch their feet. Is their princess in another castle? No, it is just a really big castle. That sets off some Mario voices, and a memory from years back, when they used to freak out if anyone made a noise from a copyrighted game. Four years later, nobody cares.
The creeper room
The way down into the next house is very quick and not very nice. One of them gets swarmed and starts singing about needing a hero, and the other cannot hit the mob on top of him without hitting him too. Eating bread and letting them hit him turns out to work. A chest of enchanted books has no Mending, but decent books otherwise.
Creepers wait under the stairs, skeletons on a balcony, and then the surprise. One of them had seen a torch go into a room and assumed it was empty. It was a creeper room. A side room that seems to have no way in gets called the place your mother-in-law lives.
Somebody leaves a stack of TNT and a magic bow behind. Are you feeling okay? He has an entire stack already, and his other bow is cooler. So disappointed in you right now.
Trapped on glowstone
They cross the rooftops to a weird building with an attic. A chest in it sits on glowstone and is clearly trapped. Don't open it. They do the rest of the place first while spiders spawn in. In the end the chest gets opened anyway, and it holds potions. There is no room for them, so they will have to come back.
A ladder climbs to a catwalk where mobs are spawning, and they torch spawner after spawner up there. A chest holds tipped arrows, again with no room. Note blocks around the place keep getting in the way of right clicks. Downstairs is a regular spider room, a zombie room and a room of creepers, and a creeper spawner goes down. Someone's helmet breaks. Was it the Mending one? No, just a leather cap.
An emerald in the corner
The last part of the building is barricaded off with mobs still spawning behind it, and there is an emerald in the corner. Breaking the carpet in the middle of the room sets the whole place off. Use your water bucket on the carpet, one of them says, a lesson from the last house. There is a lava pit, too. Falling in would have been wild. Nobody dies.
A chest by the beds has bread, torches and a lot of swords, plus experience bottles. They grab the emerald. Sweet. The swords will have to wait. Note to self.
Nothing at the top
Up in the tower, a mob drops a Protection II book. They expect a spawner at the top. There are no spawners. There is nothing at all.
That means the village is beaten, all except the market. They think a note block was the trigger for the trap room. Then it is back to the church with the potions and swords, and that is where it ends.
