Back on the rooftops of Forlorn Legacy, where the creepers and skeletons below are fighting each other. The plan is the same as before: clear one house at a time, keep the doors blocked, and stay up high.
One witch spawner too many
From the roof they can see the market stalls down in the street, and the fountain, which would be a great place to hide an emerald. They make a note to come back to it.
The next house has a carpeted room that is not easy to get into, and a witch spawner inside. Keep it or kill it? They already have two witch spawners at the other spot. Two is enough, so this one goes. We will have regrets later, one of them says. That's fine.
The chest in the room has iron and a wolf spawn egg. We get dogs. Nobody needs the bones, since they have plenty back at base.
Spiders, creepers, and a lot of bread
The rest of the house is poison spiders to the left and creepers to the right. The spider spawner around the corner goes down, someone is going through bread like a champ, and in the scramble one of them swings at a spider and hits the other instead. I'm sorry.
A room off the hall turns out to be full of creepers. A torch goes on the spawner and they finish them off one at a time.
The armory
Then a suspicious room. They break in through the floor rather than trust the door, and it is not a trap, just armor. A whole chest of it: helmets, chestplates, leggings and boots, iron and gold, plus lots of arrows. It all goes back to the church roof.
No nether wart
The next roof peak might hide an emerald. It seems to just be full of blocks, and it connects to a room they have already cleared. Then a pickaxe breaks, there is no cobble on hand, and the replacement is wood. The good news about the wooden pickaxe, one of them notes, is that it does not actually break blocks in a way that lets him pick them up.
Witches keep turning up, so they hunt down the spawner and take it out. Downstairs is a brewing room with bottles, fermented spider eyes, rabbit's feet and a pile of potions, including healing potions. Still no nether wart, but they carry some of it back just in case. They are a little surprised none of the brewing stands were trapped.
The floor is spiders
The house next door has a floor covered in spiders. Basket ends up in the room with them, and the chat reads BasketMC was slain by Spider. He had healing potions and never used them. Next time he says he is in the room with the spiders, he adds, he will also say he is retreating. On the way back the chat reports BasketMC shot by a skeleton as well. Afterward they sort out his gear, down to a stone axe with Knockback and Looting.
The basement
The last stop is a basement packed with skeletons, after one of them has handed over all his arrows. They block a doorway, let the skeletons shoot each other for a while, and light the spawners rather than save them. The shields help against plain arrows but not fire arrows, since you still catch fire. Someone points out that a water bucket would beat breaking every carpet by hand.
The bottom of the house is clear. It is an interesting house. What an odd episode.
