Food, bones and a shield

Food is still short. They have bones for bone meal to grow wheat, the fishing rod, and a cave full of water to fall back on. Before heading in, they put a block under the waterfall so there is a way back up.

One of them realizes hostile mob sounds have been switched off the whole time, which explains why nothing could be heard. A chest has a shield in it, only one. The one holding the emerald asks whether it is driving the other one nuts.

The first death

Someone says the map is so easy that even Scoti couldn't die. Shortly after, one of them dies. It is the first death of the run. The dead player respawns back at the start of the level, and the other follows the trail back to a pool of water full of dropped gear.

On the way they find that a spawner one of them thought was lit up properly is still spawning things. It wasn't lit enough, and you can't put torches on ice. They also spend a minute sorting out whether a pair of pants got lost in the water or are just part of someone's skin.

Creepers and knockback

Next is a big room with a creeper spawner. They split up, one left and one right. The Tune of Gale's knockback is handy here, since it sends creepers back toward the other player, though one of them decides they need a real main weapon as well.

There are gold boots, a hidden staircase, and a chest with a stone shovel in it, plus some snow that might be a shortcut or might be a trap. Through some glass is a room full of cobblestone and coal. They stop to brag that they are CTM experts who rarely die, and anything you just saw was a one-off.

Cursed gear

Walking across one floor sets off dispensers that put armor straight on you. The chestplate is cursed and can't be taken off. It also has Mending, so nobody is too upset. They have not seen a trap like it before.

At the intersection room they set up a crafting table and a furnace and store things in an ender chest: the enchanting table, the fishing rod, the XP bottles, the wool and some saplings. A gold chestplate in there is named Scoti's Chestplate, an anti-projectile chestplate. renderXR is in the chat and says that one has Scoti's name on it and renderXR would be disappointed if Scoti didn't wear it. Arrows get shared out too, 40 of them.

Morrow Cavern

Morrow Cavern is the monument area, a huge cave with trees, waterfalls, path blocks and grass. The pink wool goes on the monument. They like that this map is more spread out than the last one, which was very crowded.

Exploring the cavern

There is a viewing platform to see your progress, the start of a farm, an anvil, and another weapon, the Tune of Virtue, with even more Sharpness than the Tune of Gale but no knockback.

The episode ends at a fence in a side cave with water running through it. What is behind it waits for next time.
