BasketMC

Magenta Wool: Untold Stories 4 Episode 6

The giant mushrooms they hadn't reached yet are where this episode starts. It ends with the top of the area finished, the magenta wool on the monument and a new emerald in the chest. In between, both of them get blown up by creepers.

Two creepers, two deaths

There are zombies everywhere, and a spawner turns up in a tree. Then a creeper blows up Scoti almost right away. "How did I die so fast?" They admit the armor isn't great, and there is a short debate about who was blocking with what.

A couple of minutes later it happens again, and this time the death message reads BasketMC was blown up by Creeper.

A tree inside a mushroom

The area is a big wooded cave with a gigantic tree and a giant mushroom, and there is only one way up, which makes a nice choke point. One of them looks inside the big mushroom and finds a tree growing in it.

While Basket is dead, Scoti waits it out on top of a brown mushroom where nothing can reach and declares, "I am so good at this game." Scoti also picks up Basket's dropped gear and hands the chestplate back: "Heal your buns. You are a BasketMC." Basket gets the rest back off the ground, including a sword and a music disc. There is a creeper spawner up on a ledge near where Basket died, plus a spider jockey, and the spawner gets lit up.

Magenta wool and an emerald

Up here they find one emerald and the magenta wool, and the wool brings up a new recipe pop-up on Basket's screen. One of them thinks that, given how many emeralds there should be, at least one more must be up here somewhere.

The creepers keep coming, so they head back to the house to sleep. The game won't let them, because there are monsters nearby, and then someone goes to bed with the door open and gets an uninvited guest.

The quick way down

With the wool in hand, they decide they are done with the top part. The cave down below probably has the other emeralds, or at least one of them. Rather than carry everything back the long way, they make a water stream to ride down. They only have one bucket because iron is short, which leads to a side thought about making an anvil, since they have a lot of books.

They leave some things behind for later: dirt, sand, and feathers, since there's no flint to make arrows. At the bottom they find monsters in the base. The water that used to keep it safe is gone.

Back at the monument

At Morrow Cavern they dump everything into a chest. Neither of them remembers a rule about moving ender chests. The magenta wool goes on the monument.

Emerald 5

The emerald goes into the monument chest, where each emerald has its own marked slot. It lands in the wrong one at first, then goes in the slot labeled "Emerald 5 goes here." One of them finds it interesting that they are the one who gets to put the emeralds back. For the people watching the stream, they say they'll build a little house off camera, and the episode ends there.
