They set out to find one more emerald. They find a second intersection, a teleporter, two chests of gear and a hidden room instead, and the emerald is still missing when the episode ends.

A bad mouse and a missing number

One of them is playing on a stand-in mouse, about half the size of the usual one, and it barely works inside menus. "This is gonna be a rough episode." There's a cool sword in a chest early on, which they agree is cool but not epic.

Then the question of which emerald they're after. Nobody is sure. renderXR, who made the map, is in chat, but they decide they can't take advice from the map maker. Their best count is that the one they just got was number three, so four is the one to find. They admit they could be wrong about that.

Up the waterfall

They follow the river up to a waterfall that looks "very promising" and walk in watching for traps. Inside is a room with torches neither of them placed. It feels trappy, so they break one of the stairs to check for a pit. Under it is a purple floor.

Intersection 2

It's a new intersection, a different one from the first. "We beat the game." There's an ender chest, so the emerald goes in it where it can't be lost, along with half the coal blocks.

Every intersection is supposed to have a secret. One of them spots a strip of cobblestone in a doorway and wonders if it's a mistake. The other points out that renderXR doesn't make mistakes. The real find is a chest way up in the glass. It holds an anti-projectile chestplate, and since one of them has a half-broken one, the new one gets handed over.

On the way out they hit a button, hear an explosion and get teleported to the entrance of Morrow Cavern. That's the easy way back to the intersection, they decide.

Back to the mushrooms

After a stop to fix the mouse speed in Windows ("so much better"), and a hat, they head back across Aurora Valley. Food is down to five potatoes. They want to reach the mushroom area while it's still day, because the last night there was bad.

They point out the attic in the village where one of the emeralds came from. On top of a giant mushroom is a chest named Enchanted Armor, with fire protection and blast protection gear. There are witches and a lot of creepers.

A square in the wall

They try a theory. The first emerald was down at the waterfall near the start, and the fifth was in the village, so maybe the missing one is somewhere in between. Night comes. They check whether the aurora up top is reachable and decide it's above the level and off limits.

Then one of them notices a square, three blocks by three, in the wall above the broken-down houses. It goes in. Inside is a treasure chest with a diamond axe, two golden apples and two stacks of XP bottles. "Good job me, finding not what we're looking for."

Still no emerald

A witch dies to a Smite weapon. One of them gets cornered and yells for help, and the other claims a life saved. Their next guess is that the emerald is in the water, so they go looking in the deep parts.

renderXR drops a line in chat: this one is tricky. That turns into "It's Tricky" for a few seconds. The episode ends in the village, with one last idea: maybe there are two emeralds there, because it takes two to make a village.
