The title card says Emerald 14. They spend most of the episode in the same dark jungle, looking for an emerald that isn't on the ground or in the lake. It's in a tree.
The one they already had
They pick up near another ender chest, by the lime wool level they were in before. The zombies here are wearing a lot of armor. One of them thinks the mobs might have their missing shield. "Mobs don't pick up shields, silly Basket."
Down in the lake someone spots an emerald. "Oh sweet. No, it's the one we already grabbed." There are experience bottles and a chest that nobody broke, though.
The spawns are heavy, and they're playing on hard. Whose idea was that? "Both of us." They go after the witch first, since she has range, and then the creepers.
Spawners and a storm
It starts storming. There are creeper spawners, a baby zombie picking up "all that valuable dirt," and a treasure chest with leather boots (Protection II) and chain leggings (Fire Protection II, Unbreaking II).
Trouble in chat
Someone in chat writes in all caps. "I refuse to read anything in all caps. I assume it's all swears." They get banned. A little later a moderator is told that fake donations count as a bannable offense, after somebody typed that they gave Basket two dollars without giving anything.
Looking up
Nothing on the ground has an emerald, so they take the high ground. One of them goes up into the treetops while the other looks around below. They pass "the most excellent bridge" one of them made earlier, and realize they left the coal blocks behind.
The emeralds and the wool aren't on them, either. They're both in the ender chest. "I did the thing I'm always refusing to do," says whoever put them there.
In a tree
"I found it." "It's in a tree?" It's the tree by the spawner they still can't figure out, with a bunch of emerald blocks sticking out of it. Basket's screen shows the walk over, a fight with the vines, and the Emerald Chest. The item inside is named Emerald 12, labeled "Gemlight Bog, Green Wool," with experience bottles beside it. "This makes up for the last one that was really short."
No water in the trees
Then the chat line reads "Scoti_Garbidis fell from a high place." Scoti was looking over an edge when a skeleton in the dark shot them off. The other one figures their own monitor brightness must be turned up higher, since they keep seeing things Scoti doesn't.
Scoti's gear is sitting on the rooftops. The plan is a water bucket so Scoti can climb back up to it. The water goes right on top of the stuff instead. "That's like the worst idea ever." Scoti gets it all back anyway, and they head out on the stairs they built. "We'll celebrate next time."
