A sign points one way to the next level and another way to "tacos and corn dogs." Nobody is surprised when the snack route turns out to be a trap. What follows is a cage full of spawners, a volcano going off, and the fastest emerald hunt of the map so far.
Chat votes tacos
The emerald and all the magic books are already in the ender chest, which turns out to be a good call. One of them suggests a chat poll, tacos and corn dogs or the next level, but there's no way to make one. Tacos it is.
"Yep, it is a trap." It teleports them into an iron-bar cage with bedrock overhead and lava behind the bars. Outside are charged creeper spawners, poison spiders and ghast spawners. "I'm really glad we put the emerald away."
Water buckets and a roof
Water buckets do most of the work, pushing the spiders back. They build a two-tall tunnel and a roof, then realize the wood can burn and switch to non-burnables. Someone puts out the other's water by accident. "We almost had a major boo boo."
There's also a mix-up about the spawners. One of them could have sworn the other said to save them. "You thought I said that, and then I was like, no, that sounds crazy." Nobody was planning "the world's greatest spawner machine." They break out by digging up with ladders and a plain diamond pick. "Lame."
No tacos for renderXR
At the top there's a teleporter rigged to string, a trap that gets "disarmed poorly," and no tacos or corn dogs at all. renderXR, the map's maker, shows up in chat just after. "You just missed the corn dogs and taco." One of them takes a brick, "'cause I'm at war with Render," and they show off their stack of gravel in a map that was supposed to have none. How scary was the room? "Initially, seven, 'cause I noticed we were inside of a cage."
The volcano goes off
A sign explains what a magma chamber is: magma under a volcano, and when the pressure gets too high it finds a way to the surface. Shortly after, it does. Fire catches the top of the level and lava runs down the sides. They dig a low spot so it pools away from their opening.
A chest nearby has more gravel. "It's on purpose. You were wrong this entire time, Basket." Ahead is a ghast spawner and red glass, but they still owe the jungle an emerald, so they head back.
Coal heads, iron heads and a record time
Under one of the big trees is a cave with Coal Head and Iron Head mobs. The gold ones "killed me eight times," so expectations are low, but these mostly drop iron and cobblestone. A coal spawner gets broken, and one drop is a stone pick with Unbreaking III and Efficiency I. They joke about cutting the video until they find the emerald, sleep through the night, and turn up a chest of armor and a pile of TNT.
They don't need to cut anything. One of them finds the emerald at the bottom of a dark tree, posts coordinates in chat, then grabs it and leaves. "That's a record time." "We just have to threaten that we're gonna cut video." A shortcut at the bottom of the big shrine leads back to the start of the level, and they'll celebrate next time.
