This level is the nether in everything but name: netherrack, lava, blazes, ghasts and pigmen. The wool shows up early. Getting through the rest of it alive is the hard part, and one of them doesn't.
No plan
It opens with a call to come to "my secret place up here." Outside there's a lava lake, a chest on a little island, and spawners everywhere. One of them takes out a spawner and then gets shot by skeletons from another. "I didn't bring any arrows with me!" Then: "Oh, I have stuff." There are lots of "arrow guys," blazes overhead, and a retreat back into the hole.
One of them is in all fire protection gear, and it's holding up. The honest review comes a minute later. "We should have planned a little bit." One of them tunnels up to deal with the fire from the top. Shooting at mobs through water turns out to be a bad idea.
The wool, already
"Have you grabbed the wool yet?" A little later Scoti, in gold armor, calls Basket over. "Stay here, look at this." It's the wool. "Oh yeah, good job." The plan is to drop it off at the front, then find the emerald, probably over to the right and probably in one of the pits.
There's also a bed set into the floor that nobody remembers placing. "I must have put it down in a panic." The skeletons dropped Fire Aspect books, which seems fitting. "Let's never go back to that spot."
Pigmen and a magma cube
To the right it gets worse. Pigmen are everywhere, there's a ghast spawner, and a baby zombie in the mix. If you knock a ghast's fireball back and it hits a pigman, "you're in trouble." Spawners come down one at a time. A pigman spawner they leave alone, since it hasn't switched on.
Then a magma cube spawner, and lava below it. "Holy moly, that guy beat me down." The death screen reads "BasketMC was slain by Magma Cube," score 434. The complaint afterward: "He hit me once and I was at like three hearts."
Whose pants
The gear is down by the lava, with a creeper heading toward it. "Do not let him blow up my stuff, please." There's no sword in Basket's inventory. A zombie is wearing someone's armor, and pigmen pick things up too. "I went to a pigman fashion show one time. It was hideous."
Most of it comes back: pants, boots, a shield, arrows, and a record nobody expected to see down there. One of them lists their armor: Projectile Protection III, Fire Protection II, Blast Protection II, Unbreaking I, no Mending. The Mending Feather Falling boots belong to one of them, and there's a warning about the gold boots in the chest: don't wear those. The iron ones with Feather Falling III are fine.
A box under a ghast spawner
With about three minutes of fire resistance left each, they stick to high ground and work toward the special chest. They also remember the Untold Stories they quit, when the wool dropped from a boss and got destroyed.
The special box sits under a ghast spawner, with a blaze spawner on a pillar next to it. One of them gets inside and finds a bow, golden apples and arrows, then goes after the spawner on top. The emerald is still hidden somewhere. "Is this a good time in an episode?" It is.
