Emerald 20: Untold Stories 4 Episode 34

A short one. They're still in the nether-style level from last time, there are too many mobs to fight, and the emerald is somewhere in a pit. This time they find it and get it home.

Too many guys

"Welcome back, we are killing guys." There are too many to really kill, so the first idea is to retreat up. There's another pit between them and the special box, and they could use a water bucket. The next pit doesn't look like much, but it has a spawner, and that makes it a good bet for the emerald.

One of them digs toward a pigman spawner and finds yet another special box. "Everything is so special." Then a blaze pit, a spooky noise, and silence. "Did I just lose my Minecraft sounds? Are you still there?" They are, just on opposite sides of the level, and it takes a minute to find each other.

Not where you'd guess

"Don't fall down there like I just did." Somebody has already fallen in. Then: "I found the emerald. It's down here, but not where you would've guessed." The other one is told to hurry: "You don't wanna get beat by the super speedy Scoti expert Minecraft."

The finder waits for the spawns to stop before going for it, takes out the magma spawner, and then: "I got the emerald." Next comes a staircase dug up toward the front of the level. A box nearby is crawling with mobs, so it gets left for another time.

Retreat

Fire resistance is down to about three and a half minutes. "Retreat! What's retreat in Spanish?" "Vámonos!" A witch shows up, the retreat gets reversed for a bit, and someone gets turned around near the spot that got blown out earlier. There's still plenty of the level left if they ever need more magma cream. The main worry is simple: "Don't fall in that lava and lose our emerald."

On the way out they grab potions and empty bottles. A creeper by the entrance gets a warning. Somebody decides the ghasts are phoenixes, "in the Harry Potter sense," since their tears heal you.

Decorating

Back at the monument, the glass goes first. Then the emeralds: "19, and 20." The tooltip on the second one reads "Emerald 20, Corona Chamber, Red Wool," and it goes into the chest with the rest. Someone notes "there's only one in the next one." "I'm doing the wool," says one of them, and the glass goes into a window.

They admit it's a little short, but it closes with a level done. "Good job, guys. We're decorating!" "HGTV!"
