This is the last video of The Zero Chunk Challenge, Michael Deering's March 2015 Minecraft Hardcore Challenge, and it holds two episodes in one. A creeper ended Basket's run in Episode 4, so everything here is seen from Basket's spectator camera, drifting through walls behind technascribe, MomofMiners and Frank_n_Honest as they carry on in the zero chunk.
A pie nobody can eat
Episode 5 opens at Basket's grave by the fence, with technascribe, Frank_n_Honest and MomofMiners gathered around the white headstone. "We can't eat the pie that we made for our little gravesite here." Nobody stays sad for long. "We have to throw ourselves into our work." One voice says "I'm gonna go caving again," another "I'll go fishing," and technascribe heads off past the wheat farm.
Following MomofMiners down
Basket's camera sinks through the ground, the stone peeling away to show the caves and lava below, and picks up MomofMiners walking past a lava pool. The talk turns to diamonds ("Two diamonds.") and what to spend them on. "We have enough diamonds to make a diamond axe." "It's an abomination." Creepers wander the dark tunnels nearby, and someone is after skeletons for their bones. "Hey, Mr. Skele." Episode 5 wraps up with a goodbye at the memorial and a line for the ghost: "Say bye, Basket, we know you're there."
The witch
Episode 6 starts back at the memorial ("Our other tree grew"), then goes straight back underground. For most of the cave stretch Basket's view is tinted green. Then a witch turns up in the tunnels near MomofMiners. "Whoa, really, a witch?" MomofMiners swings a sword at it while it holds up a potion. "I'm gonna die." Then chat reads "MomofMiners was killed by Witch using magic."
Two spectators
"I heard glass break, you stupid witch." A moment later chat shows "[MomofMiners: Set own game mode to Spectator Mode]," and now two of the team are watching. MomofMiners' things lie scattered on the cave floor with the witch still standing over them. The talk turns to whether anyone should fetch them. "It'll be a fight, because there's a lot of stuff here." Then: "I've never seen a skeleton pick up a sword before."
A second headstone
Back up top, Basket's camera hangs over the base at sunset: the spruce fence and the farm. "Since there's only two of us left." "We got lots of food." When the camera comes back to the graves in daylight, a second white headstone stands next to Basket's, with flowers in front and a sign that reads "R.I.P. Momofminers Killed by Magic!" Frank_n_Honest and technascribe stand by the graves, one of them holding out a pumpkin pie, and the episode signs off with "Say bye, ghost."
The video ends there, with technascribe and Frank_n_Honest still alive at the two graves, and the end credits follow with no gameplay after them. This is the last video of the month's playlist.
