Inversion is a whitelisted survival server for YouTubers, and this is Basket's first episode on it. The day starts with a first enchant in the spawn plaza. Then Th3pooka turns up to show off two bases nobody is living in, and it ends with a boat run to carry Basket's supplies from an island out at sea to a new plot at spawn.
A first enchant
"Hey everybody, Basket here," the episode opens. Basket has only been on the server a couple of days and has very little to show. There are a few diamonds, though, and the plan is a Fortune pickaxe. An iron pickaxe goes into the enchanting table, and the tooltip comes back with Efficiency II and Unbreaking II. "That's a good pick, but I was hoping for fortune."
Two empty bases
Th3pooka's nameplate shows up in the plaza. A voice opens with "Yo ho, everybody" and explains the tour: two bases were handed down from players who stopped playing, and Basket needs resources. Through a portal and a Nether hub with colored doorways, the green door leads to a cobblestone storage room lined with labeled chests and furnaces. A voice lists what comes with it: a full double chest of cobblestone, a skeleton spawner and a wheat farm. The rent starts at "like a thousand gold" and drops to five gold within a sentence.
The rail to the second base
The second base is a long minecart ride down a netherrack tunnel. It comes out at a dock by a wooden house where a sign tells visitors to take anything they want. Basket goes through the chests. Somebody mentions a death counter, and the Tab list shows it: Th3pooka 2, BasketMC 0. A voice declares, "until this server is on hard mode, I am not wearing any armor." This base is priced at "a million iron."
A plot at spawn
The opening plan was a spawn house, and spawn sits in a desert. Asked what to build there, a voice answers: "something small on the surface, but then have something go under the ground." They walk the area looking for a spot without a sign on it, and when they find one, Basket plants a sign and types out "BasketMC's Spawn House." A small hole goes down to check what is underneath, and a bed, chests and a furnace go down beside the sign.
Boats to the resource island
The supplies are on a tiny cobblestone island far out in the ocean, marked with a sign as Basket's starting resource island. It holds a few chests, a furnace, some wheat and a ladder down to a branch mine. The two of them empty it and head home by boat, and the boats misbehave. They collide, they break, and one goes missing until it turns up again. "A boat appeared in my hands," a voice says.
Unpacking at night
Back at the plot, Basket's connection drops mid-unload, and the game shows a Connection Lost screen. After that, according to a voice, everything just put in the chest came back into the inventory. imGiftedx joins, Th3pooka types "hey gift," BasketMC answers "heyas!" and imGiftedx replies "yoho as pooka would say."
The episode ends at night on the plot, which is a sign, a bed and a stack of chests for now. A voice closes with "probably next episode, I'll start working on that." After the end card there is one more short clip from the spawn plaza in the rain, where a zombie and another mob charge the two players and Basket fights them off with a sword.
