BlackBelt UHC puts six players into three random teams of two, with standard UHC rules, run on the UHC Blox command block system in Minecraft 1.11.2. Health does not come back on its own, so every lost heart counts. The episode opens in a sky lobby, with "BlackBelt UHC Feb 2017, Episode 1" over the floating players. Basket is on the red team with Subek1969.
Begin
Players drift around the lobby while everyone gets ready, and BlackBeltCrafter checks in chat that blue is ready. Then the countdown runs: "Start in 3 seconds," 2, 1, and "BEGIN!!!" in green letters.
Basket lands in a stony hollow with trees around it, and Subek1969 is right there. BasketMC types "go?" in chat, and the red team gets to work.
Wood, then food
First comes wood, then a crafting table and a wooden sword. Basket chases chickens and pigs for food. Chat fills with achievement lines from all six players as everyone does the same. Basket asks the important question in chat: "when does border start shrinking?" BlackBeltCrafter answers "80 mins," Scoti_Garbidis writes "now," and then BlackBeltCrafter posts "40 mins."
Through the hill
With stone tools in hand, Basket starts a tunnel straight into a hillside and keeps digging until it opens out on a grassy slope on the far side. By then the light is fading. A voice on the call says the plan is to dig down near the wall, so that if the border starts closing in they will not have to run through it. The pair starts a staircase into the ground.
A creeper in the cave
The staircase breaks into a cave, and there is a creeper in it. Basket spots it standing in a dark opening at the back. On the call, the plan is to draw it out without getting too close. Then comes a bang, and a voice on the call reports, "I took half a heart." Meanwhile chat shows Scoti_Garbidis earning "Hot Topic," the furnace achievement.
When Basket pulls up the Tab list, all six names are still there: JJBonsig and Scoti_Garbidis in blue, BlackBeltCrafter and johnfal_92 in white, and BasketMC and Subek1969 in red.
Lighting up the caves
The cave keeps branching up and down. Basket puts torches along the walls and mines coal and iron ore, while the call hears a zombie and skeletons somewhere nearby. Scoti_Garbidis earns "Acquire Hardware" in chat, so the blue team has iron too.
In a stone room, Basket builds a crafting table and a block of four furnaces and starts smelting.
Then chat posts "UHC BLOX | Mark | 20 Minutes." Basket is still mining underground with nine and a half hearts as the episode ends, and no one has been knocked out on screen yet.
