Episode 5 of BlackBelt UHC finds the red team underground again. The title card reads "BlackBelt UHC Feb 2017, Episode 5." Basket and Subek1969 are mining through caves, and the first problem is a creeper waiting down a hole.
Lava for the creeper
"Down the hole there is where the creeper is. So be careful," a voice warns. A little later a voice says, "I'm putting down lava, so don't go down there," and then, "Okay, he's gone." A voice also points out that holding shift to sneak hides your name from other players.
The caves keep coming, and Basket mines a vein of redstone. "Hear skeleton, careful," a voice says. Soon after: "I'm gonna die." "Don't die, use your shield," comes the answer, and then, "He's dead, but I took some chunks." Near a pool of lava, Basket empties a water bucket over it, with black obsidian along the edge.
Gold at the furnaces
Back at the furnaces, Basket smelts gold ore. A voice says the plan is "cooking up some of the gold and stuff."
A couple of minutes later, Basket lays eight gold ingots around an apple and crafts a golden apple.
The blue team is out
About nine minutes in, chat posts "JJBonsig was slain by johnfal_92." With Scoti_Garbidis already out, that ends the blue team. BlackBeltCrafter types "gg," BasketMC adds "belated gg jj," and johnfal_92 writes "yes GG JJ." JJBonsig answers, "boy do I have a story to tell you later..."
Basket opens the Tab list. Four players still have hearts: BlackBeltCrafter, johnfal_92, BasketMC and Subek1969. Subek1969 is down to two hearts. JJBonsig and Scoti_Garbidis are grayed out. A voice notices that BlackBeltCrafter has just healed all the way up and guesses the white team made a healing potion. Chat history also shows "UHC BLOX | Eternal | Light," and a voice says, "Oh, it's eternal day right now."
Which way to dig
So it is the red team against the white team. "So what's the plan now? Die graciously?" a voice jokes. Nobody knows of a landmark at the center, so the idea is to look for more diamonds in any caves nearby and otherwise head for the surface. Then the border turns up again. "Border is right behind me," a voice says, and it is still moving. They turn the other way and dig a stair-step tunnel, with three torches left at the bottom of the stairs in case they need to retreat.
A spectator in the wall
Near the end, a voice asks, "Why am I taking damage?" The answer: "No, somebody else is." Chat shows a spectator "suffocated in a wall," and a voice says it happened right next to them. The server posts "UHC BLOX | Mark | 100 Minutes," and the episode ends with Basket alive, still underground.
