Episode 4 of BlackBelt UHC starts on the surface in daylight, where Episode 3 left the red team. The title card reads "BlackBelt UHC Feb 2017, Episode 4," and the server's "UHC BLOX | Mark | 60 Minutes" line is still in chat. Both Basket and Subek1969 are hurt, so the first job is food and healing.
Apples and a hole
Basket chops through oak leaves for apples and hits a few pigs for food. Then the ground gives way. Basket drops into a dark hole and loses a good chunk of health on the landing, with a water bucket in hand, then digs back up a narrow shaft to the grass. "Stupid holes," a voice says.
Golden apples at the furnaces
Back at the furnaces and crafting table, Basket has a golden apple in the hotbar. A voice checks that the other already got an apple, and Subek1969 comes up beside the furnaces in iron armor. Basket eats a golden apple, and the inventory screen shows Regeneration II and Absorption kicking in.
The Tab list shows where things stand. BlackBeltCrafter has full health and johnfal_92 is close to it. A blue name half cut off at the top of the list, BasketMC and Subek1969 are each missing a few hearts. Scoti_Garbidis has no hearts next to the name at all. "They have the advantage right now," a voice says about the white team.
A walk toward the middle
With the gold used up, the pair packs up and heads for the middle of the map, away from the corner and the border. The route crosses a river, grassy hills and then snowy slopes, where they find the first cows they have seen and take the beef.
The sun starts to set. The plan, a voice says, is to dig down once it gets dark, so they cross the water near some sugar cane and start digging before the mobs spawn.
Lava and buckets
Underground, the first cave opens onto a stream of lava running down the stone. On the call, the two talk over buckets. A voice says it carries both a water bucket and a lava bucket, and recommends always having a water bucket, but keeping lava off the hotbar so it does not end up in your own face.
Inventories are full by now, and a voice goes through what can go: the wooden pickaxe, gravel and a flower, while some dirt stays.
Redstone and a creeper
Further down, Basket finds a wall of redstone ore and mines it out, then sets up a crafting table in the tunnel. A voice calls out a skeleton, then a creeper, and later warns that a creeper is following through the tunnels and looks for a gap narrow enough to block it off.
Near the end, chat shows a new name joining the server, and then "UHC BLOX | Mark | 80 Minutes." The episode ends with Basket still alive underground on six and a half hearts, with Subek1969 just ahead in the torch-lit tunnel, and then the end card.
