The team cards and the "Season One GopherCraft UHC" title roll one last time. Episode 9 opens at dawn by the walled-in portal at spawn, where the last episode stopped. The plan from last time holds: lostinthefort goes through first. "Good luck."
Into the Nether
lostinthefort steps into the portal, and Basket follows a few seconds later. Chat reads "optimus1971 was shot by lostinthefort," and as Basket lands in the Nether, "1minnyE was slain by PsychoSFK." BasketMC and PsychoSFK type gg, and 1minnyE leaves the game. A player head lies on the netherrack among the dropped gear. "Let me grab this head." A teammate has the other one already.
A teammate explains the fight: an arrow hit first, and when they turned around, both of them were standing right there.
Eight heads
Back through the portal at spawn, Basket digs in new oak log posts at the monument and sets the heads on top. Someone counts them off: "that's eight heads posted."
A choice in chat
"160 MINUTES" has already shown in chat. Now a broadcast arrives: "You have a choice... You can either call a 3 way tie or..." and then "I can spread you out and you can fight to the death." Basket types "nah, we're a team." There is no fight among the three. The Sparkling Party is the last team in the match, with BasketMC, lostinthefort and PsychoSFK all alive.
Everyone back at spawn
"Let's go down to Loser's Lounge." The players who were out join the game again one by one: optimus1971, Steel_Douglas, Gopherboy, Scoti_Garbidis, TopStiGearGaming, 1minnyE and Th3pooka. The swords come out almost at once, and chat reads "Scoti_Garbidis was slain by BasketMC." Gopherboy teleports everyone together, and they walk the monument. "My head's not on there." The stories come out. The lava trap at the portal caught one player, and one player went into the Nether to hunt pigmen after finding no gold.
A free-for-all after the win
The fighting goes on just for fun. Chat reads "TopStiGearGaming was slain by BasketMC," and right after that comes "BasketMC was slain by Gopherboy," and the screen says "Game over!" Basket respawns anyway with an empty hotbar, and goes down again to Scoti_Garbidis and to an arrow from Gopherboy. TopStiGearGaming has a good sword by now. "He's got my sword."
Pigmen at spawn
Near the end, zombie pigmen are loose at spawn. "Why is this pigman out here?" Chat lists Scoti_Garbidis, 1minnyE, Th3pooka, Steel_Douglas, BasketMC and Gopherboy, each slain by Zombie Pigman. The credits thank PsychoSFK and lostinthefort for being Basket's teammates in The Sparkling Party.
